There was a huge line awaiting check. But there was only one clerk helping it. And to make even worse, the check-in clerk was very slow. She had to answer the phone calls, other guests questions, and her computer was keeping crashing. I was waiting in the line for almost 1 hr to check. Horrible experience.

The day I arrived, the restaurant and bar were closed and staff had been sent home. Did not even have room service available. The shuttle service I was expecting had changed their hours to start an hour after I need to depart. The only apparent staff was the person at the front desk and a person at the adjacent snack shop. I get that it was the day Houston locked down for the corona virus. I don't agree with the response of no room service or take out only from the hotel restaurant and bar when you could still get delivery or pick up from other businesses. I should have at the least been alerted and been given the opportunity to cancel my reservation. Bad on Hilton local management.

I would think that most of guests would understand the impact that this pandemic has had on the hospitality industry. We are one of the lucky hotel's that are still able to remain open. Hilton Brand Standards have been modified to address the current pandemic issues as has all hospitality standards across the United States to ensure we are keeping our guest's safety and health in mind as well as our employees safety and health in mind. I apology that this pandemic had inconvenienced your stay and what we were able to offer in regards to our services.
