The shuttle service was not great. We waited for 45 minutes at the airport before finally taking an Uber. However, the front desk staff apologized for the wait and provided us with vouchers for breakfast. The restaurant was very nice. Small and reasonably priced. The room was very nice. Spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was fine. They made pancakes for my daughter and had good coffee. Overall it was a good experience. The staff at the front desk, restaurant server, and continental breakfast server were all very friendly and helpful.

Disappointed

Pros: This hotel was disappointing as it needs to be renovated/updated. The bathroom fixtures are old and worn out. The restaurant was lame.
Cons: Renovate the hotel, honor awards members and give them their benefits not matter how they book.
Location: Not much around this hotel other than office buildings and somewhat close to Houston International Airport (IAH).
First, if you are a Hilton rewards member DO NOT book through Travelocity as they will not give you the benefits or credit due to booking through a "third party". I was given a terrible room at the end of the hall next to the stairwell door. The door was opened and let slam shut all night long. I'm pretty sure it was the security guard making his rounds but it woke me up every 20 minutes all night long. I asked for a better room the next night and was given another room on a different floor yet again next to the stairwell door. I asked for a Gold level room but was told I could not have one because I booked through a "third party". I also was not allowed to use the internet, normally free as a Gold member, but was told I had to pay for internet use because I booked through a "third party". Bottom line - DO NOT book a Hilton stay through Travelocity, better yet avoid Hilton altogether!

Not Hilton Standard - Not Even Close

Pros: Not much
Cons: The service from the staff. Cleanliness and functionality of rooms. Wifi.
Location: Business area with not much in walking distance.
Booked this hotel after reading all the glowing reviews. What a mistake. Called for the airport shuttle and had to wait 20 minutes (shuttle driver was a nice guy). Got to the front desk and was treated more as an inconvenience than a guest. The room was ok but certainly not what you expect from a Hilton. The tub did not drain well, so when you shower, you are standing in water. The wifi is horrible. Trying to get work done, online was virtually impossible because of the poor wifi signal. The bed was ok but nothing spectacular. The room did not feel very clean and there were stains on the carpet. Checking out in the morning was just like arrival. I waited to check out, was not even acknowledged as one girl talked on the phone and another was checking in a guest (at 6:00 a.m.). The music was so loud in the lobby that I stood outside to wait for the shuttle back to the airport. I like rock music but this was over the top for for 6:00 a.m. If all you want is a room to sleep, this may be ok. There are better options in the area. By the way, they no longer recognize Hilton Honors status if you book on Travelocity or other sites that give you a better rate than Hilton's website.
