"Check in was a little difficult the staff was young and more into their own conversations than the guests. We went to our room on the 17th floor and the key didn’t work so back to front desk they gave us new keys same thing they didn’t work. They finally moved us to a new room and then the rest of the trip was great! The hotel is beautiful with beautiful views, great restaurants, the breakfast bar was amazing! We walked around in the evening and it was beautiful! I love the history of the Galt House and would stay there every time I go to Louisville. It has a lot of charm! "

"I was there for a business trip and it was also my wife’s birthday. I asked one of the receptionist( Jake, AKA Jake from State Farm) at the front counter to help me out with decorating the room as a surprise for my wife. Of course I supplied the decorations, and gave a few specifics instructions. Jake assured me not to worry and that he would take care of it. While my wife and I attended to our business, He decorated the room exactly the way I requested. When we returned hours later, it was a major success, My wife was completely Surprised. That made our trip and stay very memorable! On top of that the room was very neat and clean. "
