Artsy in the River Arts District

The Radical Hotel is the coolest hotel that we’ve stayed. Located in the active River Arts District of Asheville it definitely fits into the location. The interiors are beautifully designed and the room was very large with its own living room, and an amazing 4 poster bed. A great hotel.

One of my most favorite hotels so far!

This place was the absolute COOLEST. So much pretty art and decor. You could smell the cleanliness as soon as you walked in. All of the room amenities (soap/shampoo/conditioner, coffee/tea selections) were top notch products. The industrialized feel made added even more to the artsy vibe. We will definitely be back!

Very cool and hip. Just re-opening after Helene. Great staff. Heat was off in room so it took a bit of time to warm room back up from 63 degrees. Bedding super comfy great night sleep

I booked this hotel because it seemed really unique and a cool place to stay. When I booked it weeks prior, their website said nothing about having considerable damage from the hurricane. When we checked in on 1-8-25, they had only opened a few days prior. The hotel restaurant was still closed as well as the basement floor which holds an art gallery by local artists. (Also part of the reason we wanted to stay there). When we got to our room, the door key pad didn’t work. They had to move us to a different room. Then, that rooms heat was stuck on high so they had to move us again. The third rooms television kept losing signal and we had to have IT come twice to fix it. So, overall it wasn’t what we expected, but we realize that hurricane caused severe damage and loss of income to several businesses in that area. Plus side: the staff was really cool. Young people with a very cool vibe and extremely helpful when things did go wrong. I think after they have fully recovered from the hurricane, we would definitely go back. This hotel is the most unique place I’ve ever stayed and it deserves a second chance.

Funky fun hotel right in the river Arts District. We would stay here again. We ordered breakfast from the café and it was delicious. The room could’ve had more areas to put your luggage and suitcases on, but it was very nice and we had a great view of the river. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel

The hotel is really cool but I was disappointed in housekeeping. The first morning I noticed the water, coffee, and tissues (which were empty) were not replaced. I left a note for the second morning and the coffee and tissues were still not replaced. 2 water bottles were left, which looked like they were filled with tap water. Also, there was only one person in the breakfast area this morning and a long line waiting for coffee and food. There should be at least 2, especially when we're talking about coffee :-)

This is such a unique and quirky hotel and we loved every bit of it! We were on our way to Savannah and needed a place to stay for one night and the Radical did not disappoint!! What a sweet surprise! We ate at the restaurant, then went to the rooftop bar and then in the morning had delicious cappuccinos in their in-house cafe. We also walked the surrounding area where we saw lots of dogs being walked and even some cats but really, this hotel has everything, you don’t need to leave for a thing.
