It’s in the middle of everything! Close to subway stations! I really like the buffet breakfast but since I booked from a third party, I didn’t realize breakfast wasn’t included. But I purchased 1 day so my bf can experience it! ( I’ve been here before) . Staff was friendly although when a I asked the desk to give us a higher floor stated it was my bf’s birthday I wanted us to have a nice view , we were given 29th floor I was expecting a floor like above the 40th floor. That’s the only thing I think I should complain about. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Hotel Riu!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rui in Times Square. I rated the hotel a five, however the elevators were very busy. We left on a Sunday so take that into consideration. I couldn’t see dropping the rating for that. We had the breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend adding it when you book.

Everything was great! Some communication could have been clearer such as needing to use a key card to activate power to the room and the process for breakfast (but it was worth the confusion because the food was excellent).

Excellent stay

Excellent hotel right in time square. The rooms are large and well cleaned and maintained. Breakfast was included in our rate and had a good selection. The only down side was the elevators in the morning, only one bank served our floor (7) and this was also used to bring people from the breakfast queue in the lobby to the reataurant on floor 5, we used the stairs most mornings to get to the lobby to register for breakfast, which was difficult with the stroller, i tried to exit at floor 5 to wait for my husband to register for breakfast and come up but you can't leave the stairs on floor 5 and they wouldn't let him register until i came down. This was a minor inconvenience, but a better system could be put in place to improve the breakfast experience.

Great location, hotel was very nice, staff were all polite and helpful, our room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and black out curtains were great. Only 2 down sides, 1) Breakfast buffet was very manic when it was busy (which was most of the time), it was difficult to get everything you wanted in one go, so you either sacrificed your hot drinks getting cold whilst you queued to get your breakfast or vice versa. There was everything you could want on offer though, just didn't make breakfast time relaxing and ultimately not overly enjoyable. 2) The only other downside was there was no kettle and drink station in the room or mini bar, which was very inconvenient, first hotel we've ever stayed in that didn't offer tea or coffee in your room, instead you had to keep going downstairs to buy teas/coffees and carrying them back up to your room in busy lifts. When you've been out all day and you just want to get into comfortable clothes and chill out but you can't because you have to go downstairs to get drinks. We personally think it should be included in your room. Overall a fantastic stay and was almost perfect!

No coffee makers in the room. Breakfast was amazing, but lining up every morning to get it was time consuming. there was no ice machine- we had to go to the bar and ask for it. There was a reasonably priced happy hours. It was a great location, easy access to subway/transit.

I loved the view from my room. The room was a decent size. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Truly there simply wasn't anything to complain about. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay. It was a great pick for my birthday treat.
