Blonde lady at the front desk was horribly rude. Basically told us to get the f*** out because we “didn’t have a reservation” Refused to even look at our confirmation number with Expedia because she said that’s not going to prove anything and they’re not Expedia. Called the manager the next day and he was able to pull up our reservation right away so he was confused as to why she couldn’t find it. Although, he was very short with us and seemed to be on her side. A terrible all around experience when we always come into places with a smile and good vibes.

Convenient to Mall of America

Hotel ran out of towels not even sure how that happens. One staff member appears to be on the spectrum was a little inappropriate with guest telling things about the hotel. He probably shouldn’t be saying. Hence how we find out there were no hotels pool area was overwhelming smell of chlorine. They also charged me a fee to park in the parking lot that I didn’t find out about until after I got home nothing was said to me in person.

Every floor smelled of marijuana. It was nauseating. Old smell mixed with new smell. Dirt all around the floors and under night stands. Everytime you come off the elevator a certain room would open the door to see even when we left at 3 am!! Felt very unsafe and suspicious. Would not recommend any with families or traveling alone. Will never recommend this property.

They have an entire parking lot but still wanted paid parking, ok not the worst. Got to the front desk, checked in, mediocre service, not too bad again. But then I noticed the rest. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes to the point of headaches. We got to our rooms and it still smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Check the mattresses and they had a giant blood stains on them and the curtains were torn. Immediately felt uncomfortable and went to ask staff for another room hoping it was just bad luck. Front desk girl just seemed annoyed, I showed the photos of the mattress and she gave us another room. We go up to that room, did the usual check and the mattresses had weird mysterious stains along the trim this time and sticky ripped curtains. Didn’t even want to stay, messaged help on the hotels.com website ASAP. Went downstairs and the front desk girl was not there, waited about 5 minutes before she came back. Told her we were leaving, she didn’t ask any questions just said okay have a good day. We left absolutely mortified and like we had been fooled by the photos. Horrible experience I bet we would have gotten bed bugs if we stayed.

Very convenient and affordable rooms, kinda stingy on towels in rooms but staff was very friendly and accommodating when asked for more. Pool area could be better maintained, but overall was a nice stay!
