I have stayed at this Westin property several times. It has always been a wonderful property to stay at for an up scale weekend of fun and relaxation. But not this weekend. Penn state team was taking up our entire floor and those girls were up all night long coming in at all hours and were noisy and disturbed everyone. Funny thing is that my request when booking my room was I have a sleeping disorder, need to be away from elevators and all forms of traffic and noise. You would think that the staff would never book us in a room on a floor with a bus load of Penn state 20+ year olds, right????? When we complained there was absolutely NO concern for us in the least. Absolutely NO customer service at all. This is the era of tough luck!!!!

Parking situation - even for Valet was really difficult. All the one way streets around the hotel are tough. The GPS could not locate the property. Google Maps. Might need to work with them to fix an obvious problem. Took 25 minutes to find the property.

For the price the room was a disappointment. Misleading from what you sign up for on website.

This was a nice hotel with a great location for our purpose. Close to the light rail and other great things. The rooms are a bit cramped for 4 people, and would really appreciate queen size beds in a double room instead of the full. All in all it was a good stay. The staff was very good and accommodating. The bar was very cool and the pool was small but nice.

Visiting Minneapolis

Cons: Busy street, no parking convenience, so customers can off-load their luggage(s) prior to finding a parking garage. There is no self parking next to the hotel, only valet parking, and it is very expensive, $45 per day. You have to drive one block to find a parking garage. Pro: Manage, Brian and staffs are helpful and friendly.

Great stay

Pros: see above
Cons: The mattresses on our beds seemed a little short. We stayed in a handicapped accessible room so perhaps that had something to do with it.
Location: Right downtown. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.
We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and stayed at the Westin. It used to be a bank back in the day (Kevin the bartender filled us in on the history of the place) and the main hall that contains the restaurant and bar is really beautiful. The manager sent me a text the morning of our check in and asked if there was anything they could do in preparation of our arrival. I thought for sure it was computer generated, but when I replied, he responded back. Very nice touch. The hotel was very modern and our room was very clean. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

Generally nice but beware of hidden fees.

I got soaked by two hidden fees totaling $49 in less than 24 hours. I thought I was getting s complimentary ride in a hotel car, then was charged $20 for one mile in light traffic. I was led to believe parking next door was $10 because it was Sunday, was not told they add $29 if you leave after 7 am Monday. Disappointed.

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel and room. Connected to the skyway which made it very nice getting around in January. The only complaint I would have was the price of parking which would have been nice if it was part of the hotel package.

Parking is terrible

Cons: Build a parking lot or stamp our parking ticket.
I had no complaints about the Hotel or the room. But the parking situation was terrible. You were forced to park in a parking garage across the street and for the 16 hours I was in town cost me $39 to park.
