Stayed here for business travel

Pros: Close proximity to U of M and helpfulness of staff when I asked for directions. The staff at the Bistro were very friendly and chatty.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: Didn't have time to see any of the sights.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Very clean rooms which were tastefully decorated and modern. Bathroom was a bit on the small side but still adequate. I did find it unusual the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. The bed was very comfortable. Great fitness facility.

Not the best place to stay!!!!

Cons: Poor breakfast, Nothing close, poor service, no house keeping
We checked in and thought the hotel was closer to the Metrodome then we thought. The rom was fair but the service was poor. No room service in the afternoon. We ordered breakfast Sunday morning and our dishes were still on the table when we checked out on Tuesday morning, no house keeping on Monday at all. Isnt this what you pay for!!!!! I also got locked in the lobbys restroom and no one was around to help. I also spoke with a gentlemen about a room change and when I check at the front desk for the change I was told they were not notifed about it, so no change was granted.I will never stay at this hotel again!!!!!!

Convenient and cheap

Pros: Close restaurants
Although the hotel seemed a little run-down in some areas, overall it was a great value. I couldn't believe the deal we got on it. Downsides: VERY long line at check-in, slow elevators, tiny pool, it's not really right downtown. Upsides: several nice patio bars right outside, bike rental station right outside the door, extremely nice and helpful maintenance guy who completed replaced our noisy AC unit.

A little too far from downtown. Air conditioner fan ran non-stop and was distracting when trying to sleep. Very friendly staff!

Pros: Free Internet
The hotel was alittle far from downtown. I was with my elderly mother, so we had to taxi everywhere. The hotel did offer to pickus up at the theatre. The room was clean, but the air conditioner fan ran nonstop which was distractingwhentrying to sleep. The best thing about the hotel was the friendly staff.

You have to pay $14 per night for parking.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: parking expensive
Room was basic, but had a nice 42" LCD TV. Parking was the real bummer here at $14/night.

Hotel was handy for my stay.

Pros: Quiet
Good experience. I would stay with them again. Hotel was not particularly close to a lot of things but was ok for this particular stay. I prefer to stay closer to downtown.

The staff at the hotel was amazing

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, indoor hot tub and pool, friendly staff
Cons: no complimentary breakfast
The first thing I noticed upon entering was how friendly the staff at this hotel was. I arrived earlier than the check-in time, yet the desk clerk went out of her way to find a way to allow me access to my room. She then helped me take my bags to my My room was large, fresh smelling, and clean, with a wonderful view of the city from my window. The amenities in the room itself were appreciated, and when I called to see if I could get more coffee, it was delivered promptly, and I was even asked if I wanted more than was brought. The hot tub on the 14th floor is to die for, and I highly recommend that everyone experience it. I ate breakfast in the hotel for both mornings of my stay, and found the staff there again quite friendly. As for the food, the portions were generous, and the variety wide enough to suit any appetite, the prices were reasonable as well. If I had to find any complaint at all for my stay, it would have to be in the cost of parking, but, that is really out of the hotel's control as the ramp belongs to the City, not them.

Hotel was in a great location for our meetings at the University.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
The hotel was perfectly situated for our business meeting and it was easy to get to mass transport in out off time to get to see the Mall of America. The servers in the lounge were extremely helpful and carried out our "picky" requests beautifully. Breakfast was a completely different story. The service was awful, the buffet sub standard. I must say that on the second day the food and service were so bad even the manager recognized it and compted the meal. But all in all it was a good stay and I would recommend it.
