Weekend trip to Mall of America (MOA). Hotel has shuttle bus service to and from MOA and the airport (in each case you have to call front desk for pick-up and the wait was typically 10-15 mins). Hotel is about 10 mins from airport and about 5 mins from MOA. Had a great experience and the hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating. My room was somewhat outdated but they are currently in the process of renovating, which included the dining area, so there was no hot breakfast. However, hotel did provide guests with a bag breakfast of an apple, granola bars and a water. The pool was fantastic and my 9 yr old granddaughter loved it!! The pool alone was worth staying there!

Not enough staff. It took 3 hours to get extra sheets and blanket. Room was too small for six people even though thats what we booked. The pool was absolutely packed and inspite of signs there were very young chilsren in the hot tub with floats. Also no towels in the pool area.

My room had a sewage smell in the bathroom. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. The hotel did not make it clear that there was an extra charge for parking (pretty rare in the suburbs of the Twin Cities). The staff didn't seem to care much about keeping the guests happy. One of them complained to me that he had to pay for parking too and he thought it was ridiculous. There are a lot hotels near the Mall of America. I had a better experience at Homewood Suites which is neighboring hotel.

First of all we spent an hour and a half trying to get their “24hr” shuttle to pick us up from the airport. The when we got picked up the shuttle driver was not nice at all. When we finally got there the actual check in was pleasant however the first room they gave us was not clean. Then the second room they moved us to was way worse- unclean and unfit for anyone. We had to cancel and find another place after midnight and by the time we got one had only 4 hrs to sleep before having to catch our replacement flight. They assured us we would get a refund and I will make sure of it.

I like the pool area. I like the service desk workers. I did not like the room; it was not clean and had spiders and webs. There was a urine-like odor. Services was notified, but nothing was cleaned. The Keurig was awfully dirty. Bathroom had no ventillation.

We liked that it had the restaurant we came for connected, close to Mall of America. We didn't like the A/C being broken, no creamer or sugar for the coffee, didnt say anything about paying for parking or about the construction going on. When we called down about the A/C they said they could refund us and we could leave, rudely, also said no fans available due to other rooms using them because of the heat wave.
