Upon check in, the person helping us was less than professional, we were not given our wrist bands which we didn’t even know we need until way later when we were down at the pool. The hot tub was down, which we were notified of right after booking, as soon as we got to the pool, someone defecated in the main pool, only leaving the big pool open, while they acted quick to get it back up and running, this was a bit of a bummer due to the hot tub already being down. On Saturday morning while I was showering the ceiling started leaking on me. When I called the front desk they said they would send maintenance, we headed to the mall, and I got a call we needed to move rooms due to the amount of time it would take to fix, no apologies about the issue or even just the inconvenience, keys for the new room, old room, and moving out belongings was a joke. The worst part is when we got back to our old room, the had exchanged the ceiling tile. We could see into the old room from the new room, within and hour and a half house keeping was in there cleaning the room. So pretty sure they “fixed” it. (Swapped ceiling tile) but had us move to make it look good, which frankly irritated me more. Upon checking in we noticed the water damage to the tiles but assumed the issue was old and had been fixed.

The room was fine, clean and comfy beds. It seemed as though the front desk and housekeeping was understaffed. Pool is fun but hot tub was broken. We asked 2 times for more towels and never got them, no towels at the pool most the time we were there too. For the value, it was a fine experience, nothing spectacular.

This place is very deceiving. We got a pool side room with pictures showing a sliding glass door leading out to the pool. When we arrived we were put on second floor. No pool entrance from the room. At check in is when they tell you its $10 a day for parking. There is no arcade, just a few claw machines. Breakfast is not included. There is a small "fake" Star bucks/restaurant to buy from between 6am and 10 am. The room wasnt terrible but we did have food all over the curtains and the bathtub filled up as you were showering because the drain is clogged. I would not recommend staying here unless it is a last resort

Our stay at the Wyndham in Bloomington was overall just okay. The morning of our arrival, we received a text that the hot tub was out of service. While I understand that maintenance issues happen, it was disappointing to find out the day-of, especially if that amenity factored into the booking decision. The room itself was average but not exceptionally clean. There were visible marks on the bed sheets, which immediately made us question the overall housekeeping standards. The bathroom showed noticeable wear and tear — water damage on the floor, a bathtub that was chipped in several areas, and heavy scratching around the drain. The rust streaks in the tub were especially concerning at first glance, as they gave the impression of poor maintenance. Additionally, the listing noted “Breakfast Available” and “Parking Available,” which technically is true — but both come with additional fees. Paying for parking while staying as a hotel guest feels unusual, and the phrasing was somewhat misleading. It would be more transparent to clearly state that these amenities are available for an extra charge. Overall, the stay was not terrible, but it did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and value for cost. I would rate this stay as 2.5 / 5 if I could.

Heater fan was extremely noisy, mold on ceiling in hallways, bathroom vent extremely dirty, hot tub not working. Advertised online in glamorous fashion but it’s a poorly remodeled old hotel that is dilapidated. Advertised as hot breakfast which is an overpriced Starbucks with limited options. Can hear everything in halls like it’s next to you with cheap vinyl flooring and thin walls. Extra pillows and blankets are very limited to impossible to get. Have to pay to park but not notified until after checkin. And parking is expensive at $10 for registered guests

Room was not clean - breast milk in the fridge, sausage link on the floor. Mold was growing in the bathroom caulking and there were some ants. The large vent in the room hadn’t been cleaned in years and was extremely loud.

We really loved it here. Spacious room. Clean pool area. Clean room. Honestly just no complaints. Even got my deposit back the same day as checkout.

The pool was extremely dirty cloudy and floating particles i didnt even swim. The site says free breakfast and there wasnt so i checked out at 6am my daughter woke up with 3 bug bites swollen and red. When i checked out the staff told me to have a good night at 6am!! I think they were drunk. Also was told my deposit would be released after i checked out and didnt get it! This is a hotel that is targeted for families and it was disgusting. Absolutely wont recommend again or stay at again this hotel has potential if their staff actaully took care of it. 0 out of 10.
