Sketchy part of town

Everything about the room was perfectly fine, it was just the part of town the hotel was in that was a little scary. While we were checking in there were a bunch of police cars just across the street blocking roads off. Looked at the news and there was a standoff between an armed man and police. The man was then arrested hours later... literally right across the street. Also the door to the hotel was unlocked, so anyone could just come into the building and not even have to go past the front desk. There were also tons of random people standing outside the hotel. People were slamming doors and running through the hallways and making a whole lot of noise all throughout the night. People kept knocking on our door in the evening. As long as we were in our room with the door locked I felt safe. I would not stay here again.

Nice clean hotel

Stayed here a year ago the place is completely different so much nicer. They are still doing work so there were a few issues but that's understood for a remodel in proses

My dogs kennel was nicer..

Absolutely horrible, definitely not a 3 star hotel. Smells horrible and the walls were dirty.

The hotel was just slightly less than expected

The parking for this hotel was probably the biggest selling point of the entire stay. Most other hotels in the area require you to pay for parking. However, I could not get the shower to produce hot water the night of or the morning after my stay

You get what you pay for.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy, no heat
The hotel was cheap so I guess the staff is underpaid. They were rude, and very un-helpful. The room was freezing cold with no way to adjust the temperature in the room and the front desk doesn't respond to phone calls. Also, the curtains never close completely so the room was never dark.

I liked this hotel

The Days Inn, Windsor, was very clean and had everything I was looking for, especially a nice continental breakfast and high speed internet. It was very reasonalble and I would definitely stay there again.

Over the boarder overnighter

The hotel was great for a place to crash. Basic stuff, bed, bath, TV, etc. Staff is very friendly at front desk. Parking was not bad, but I could see where it would be crampt around the holidays. Free shuttle to and from casino every half hour until 3am is a plus. The only bad thing worth noting is that they charge a $$$ deposit on the room and if you pay in American dollars, they refund it in Canadan dollars, which at the time of my trip was like a 20% loss. Also, the caste of people staying there on Saturday nights is mostly 19-21 year old drunk college students, and it can get kinda loud until about 2-3am. Not a problem if you fall into that group, but if not, I would recommend a different location.
