Our little cabin was very clean, bed was very comfortable and decor matched the Tahoe surroundings. The kitchenette was a surprise with knotty pine wood, table and chairs, all the appliances you can imagine. However, the wall next to the small gas stove/oven had a burned out section. That was unsettling! As soon as that happened, it should have been fixed immediately.

We got there and they gave us total different room. And the furnace is not working. It is -5C outside. The pictures shown are very misleading. The staff is not very helpful when we told her that the heater is not working. She said she can only bring us two small heaters. So this place is totally a scam.

It's fine...
Good location but room felt run down. Staff is friendly and on site until 5pm (they cited leaving early since it is "off season" despite being fully booked for New Years weekend). They were able to help us after hours when we got locked out. It's convenient to have a fully stocked kitchenette but the toilet was broken and ran all night, the heater needed tinkering with, the beds were extremely soft. Some of the TV channels they provided on their list said there was no subscription to the service. Small things that added up to a little buyers remorse on this one. Most of the rooms are not lakeside. My "forest side" room backed up to National so there were flood lights shining into the bedroom. I was surprised by that...I didnt expect to have a lakefront room but thought we would at least be on the lake side, not across the street. Overall it got the job done, but there are better choices in the area.
