In a room near ours, some was smoking pot, every night, you couldn’t miss it, it permeated the entire wing on our floor, we told the cleaning crew, (getting the attention of the front desk employees was near impossible and they were indifferent) nothing was done, it continued until we checked out.

Be more upfront about all the hidden costs

We booked for the sole reason to utilize the shuttle for Disneyland. At no point was a I made aware to reserve a shuttle spot, especially after checkin when I asked the front desk employee who checked me in, she said nothing about it being first come first serve. I was under the impression there would be more than 1 shuttle of 28 people per day…. Had I known that I would’ve booked a shuttle that instant, instead of 3 hours later as I’m going to dinner. So I had to pay for an Uber to get to the park so that’s fun. Also parking at the hotel isn’t covered. 20$ a day…. This is the only hotel I’ve stayed at from California, Colorado and Arizona where room phone calls are not free. So my sons call to his aunt cost me 12…

Pleasantly surprised. This hotel has everything a family needs for a short vacation. Easy walk to Knott’s Berry Farm. Starbucks and restaurant on the hotel is awesome. Clean. Staff are great. Couldn’t give a 5 star because bathroom is a bit dated and it’s noisy. Expected because of location but still an annoyance. Had a couple of kids essentially doing ding ding ditch at my door.

The recent renovations are amazing. The value for the condition and the location at Knotts Berry was more than we could’ve hoped. We would stay here again without even thinking about it. The staff were family, friendly, and professional.
