Needs improvement.

Pros: Safe area.......and the over all atmosphere is worth the money.
Cons: See comments above.
Location: Movies, shopping, or close to lots of places to eat.
Although I am giving an overall good qualify...the hotel needs upgrades. Hallways are tired, carpet is out of style...seems boring....walls..lighting etc. The giant atrium area is very good....TV's, bars, all good. Staff was excellent...etc. Just went there in Sept. Water in the main pool was cold. Took a bit to get used to. I know it gets hot in the desert but Sept is a not as hot....and even if it is...the water was on the colder side. I still would recommend.

Very quiet in off season

Hotel was very quiet, very few staff members accordingly. We were told by pool staff that if we wanted towels we needed to go to the other side of the next pool and they weren't filling up the towel holders nearby. That's customer service for you! We also checked in with a 4 month old and we were put in almost the furthest room from the lift, if you stay there with a baby ask for something closer, that was too far. Room was great though and we needed some boiled water for formula, all staff were happy to oblige, more than I can say about the Monte Carlo in Vegas.

This is a PARTY hotel!!!

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
This hotel is a PARTY hotel and was like a scene from Spring Break in Daytona Beach or from the Jersey Shore. It was packed with young, hard-partying people who were drunk from noon until the wee hours of the morning. They were loud, obnoxious, and were frequently swearing and exposing themselves in front of my children both in the hotel and at the pool. Now one might argue the hotel can't control who stays there but this hotel is clearly encouraging this specific type of hotel guest because they have night club at the hotel that pumps out loud music until 2 in the morning and their bar tenders continue serving extremely drunk people all day long. They are clearly making a lot of money from alcohol sales. This is not place for families or anyone looking for a romantic stay. The pools were overrun with extremely drunk people from 11 in the morning into the night and it was difficult to get sleep at night with them running, yelling, and generally being totally inconsiderate the whole night. I really wish that the hotel advertised itself as a party destination so that families could make an informed decision to stay away. We were extremely disappointed and quite frankly shocked by our experience here this weekend. We won't be back. It's a shame because it is a nice hotel.

To many little issues to deal with

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
woke up to find our bathtub (which we never used) backed up with dirty water and hair....maitenance took the next afternoon and evening - leaving our hotel room door wide open - to fix the problem and said they were not allowed to leave until they corrected the problem leaving us to have to change in our room for dinner -with them in the restroom and us using the main lobby bathroom to do makeup touchups...they unclog the drain, rinse the tub but still left residuals of human hair in the tub...which was still there when we left three days later....our second issue was our room was right above the costas nightclub...not usually a problem but we were to catch a 6 am flight and the club closes at 2 am and we kept waking to the pouding of the music...another issue was the outdoor hot tubs were lukewarm water at best and no one was able to enjoy them. the pool bar closes at 4 and there is no place to just get a plain hamburger in the hotel after that time (except room service), seems to be all sushi or appetizers unless you want to eat in the overpriced steak resturant...the location is great, the fitness center is good, there's a good golf course 1 mile north of the hotel and a great pizza place 5 min away, but i wouldn't stay here unless you get a great deal on your room rates.

A beautiful place to stay.

Cons: No free Internet
The grounds and lobby are beautiful. In some of the hallways the wallpaper is coming off the walls! We had to asked to move from the first room they put us in because of the awful smell! We never knew what the maid would replace in our room each day (no coffee cups or water one day, no sugar or creamer the next.) Very comfy bed! All and all it turned out to be a great stay.
