Cute cozy cabin
We visited Springville on a cold and rainy weekend but the cabin was very warm and cozy. Everything was very clean and we had just about everything we needed. The bed was a little uncomfortable for my husband. He said there was a big sag in the middle of the mattress. It is a beautiful property right on the river but instructions tell us not to wander around the property so that was a little disappointing. I don’t want to bother the homeowners but I would’ve like to have a little more freedom to enjoy the beautiful setting. One thing I really didn’t like was that all the windows are covered with privacy screen so you can’t see out at this beautiful setting. I can understand why some windows are covered but others would not have impeded anybody’s privacy. Sitting downstairs and not being able to look out the windows was just claustrophobic. We appreciated that the homeowner invited us to pick fruit from their citrus trees and got some delicious oranges and pomelos. Springville is a cute little town. We had a good dinner at El Tapatio and we really enjoyed shopping at The Station. Upper coffee Camp was closed but we still got to enjoy the ride up through Sequoia national Forest and the beautiful rushing river. All in all a nice weekend.
