"Online photos were deceiving. Hotel was outdated, very nasty, room smelled like mildew. Was given another room only to find the FRIDGE SITTING IN THE SHOWER! My son’s room also had a smell, last night of stay water starting dripping down in the bathroom and eventually the ceiling fell down. General manager, Anthony Farrah never followed up, refused to take our calls and didn’t return our calls when we reached out. By the way my son did not receive a refund and I was charged even though I left the property the night I checked in due to the conditions of the rooms."

"Breakfast was good. Housekeeping staff were good. That's about it. Ice machines out of order. Television in both rooms malfunctioned and one replaced with smaller unit. Second television lost connection three times and required reset of Internet connection. Everything about the hotel seemed old and shower needs repair. I plan to avoid La Quinta in the future; I don't trust them. My friend said waffles were not good and her room had Spyders and hair in bathroom. Not good."

"The 2 nights we stayed here were amazing. Swimming pool and hot tub were fantastic amenities to partake after a day of walking and sightseeing in downtown San Antonio. A Riverwalk Refresher from the 501 lounge/bar is the perfect nightcap. Morning means a Texas sized buffet breakfast with everything you need to start the day off right!"
