Overall, I had an amazing experience! Yes, the restaurant service—and occasionally the lobby bar—moved a little slowly, but the staff was so warm, friendly, and attentive. This room is hands‑down my favorite of all the adults‑only resorts I’ve stayed at. The grounds are gorgeous, the overall aesthetic is stunning, and the entire vibe is incredibly relaxing. And the beachfront location? Absolutely perfect. Would I recommend Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya? Without a doubt. Would I come back? In a heartbeat!

Second time here and loved our stay. Food was good- breakfast at buffet, lunch at Lola beach amazing, dinner at Italian. The beachside grill was not as good as two years ago, but other food seemed a bit better. They added poolside lunch some days which is nice. What we didn’t love is the introduction of a club level, since having all the same access was something we liked here. Club level upgrade was not at so worth it to us, expensive. And it wouldn’t bother me if they just added amenities, but they took amenities away from standard (certain pool and beach loungers for example meaning we had to play the chair game which we didn’t last time) and put it club level only so not only added a level but took something away from standard- not cool. And sometimes the music at pool and bar was way too loud. Otherwise rooms are clean and comfortable, sand is awesome and staff is friendly. I do recommend it, but would keep an eye out for a deal.

Food was amazing, Room was super clean, if your younger I recommend you stay more towards Cancun the taxi to get out of here is really expensive and Ubers or didi can’t pick up in playa del Carmen so you’re stuck paying over 100 dollars ONE WAY each time. Also recommend to arrange a way to get here because they also don’t allow uber in the airport and got stuck paying 140 in taxi fees just to get in here. Other than that if you’re more on the calm side and not looking to leave the resort this is a good place with friendly staff.

There is an outlet near the pool that is not GFCI. It could be dangerous and needs to be replaced ASAP. Other than that it is very nice. Staff friendly food very good.

The fine dining food options lived up to expectations. Having delicious food in an all inclusive resort is key and their service, very friendly staff, plenty of food options, and high quality food was pleasantly surprising. Secondly, i cant talk enough about how relaxing and wonderful the Zen Spa is. I would recommend the check in package which gets a couple a 50 minute massage followed by hydrotherapy and a body scrub you apply yourself before doing hydrotherapy. We enjoyed it so much we went again at the end of our trip before we left. Would absolutely stay here again.
