"Popular and famous destination BUT is it worth the $$$??? We were told we would LOVE this place and we KINDA did… but for the $$$$ money you pay i expected FAR MORE! We were charged for EACH person in the room! The room we were in (FOx & Hound) was OLD and worn down. No bathroom in bedroom upstairs so had to wake up people in master bedroom to go pee at night. ONE shower to share for 4 people. The staff is GREAT and the food is AMAZING (steak OMG wow)… but listen NO NEED to charge this amount. We did a 5-day wine tour and we paid the same for ONE night at Madonna Inn as we paid for our other 4 nights in other cities! WOW! Plus we had no extra charges like parking or resort fees BUT Madonna DOES!!!! Madonna needs to update for the rates they charge!!! "

"In town for a couple of days for family business. Location is ideal, area is okay, first night there was tons of noise from not sure where. Brought it up to hotel staff, next nights the noise was less."

"Close to downtown SLO, very close to freeway entrance, some restaurants close by. Parking is decent. Property is dated. We stayed in a 3 bedroom family suite that was a converted 2 bedroom apartment. Couch had two big holes in it. Hairdryer in bathroom did not work. Beds were okay."

"AC in room was good. Cooled the room but a little loud. Bathroom sizes in trellis court are small. Not sure about the other building. Overall a good experience and found it more affordable than other hotels. "
