Location was great and scenically beautiful! Breakfast was really good. Pool temp was perfect. Seats overlooking the ocean ..10/10. We paid for ocean and pool view but only got the pool view. That was the only downside.

A good, but not great experience. The general area around the hotel is nice, and the hotel itself looks nice overall. There were a few things I did not like, however, including: The overly obtrusive window shutters in front of the sliding door block out half of your view, access to the beach is not very convenient, too many text messages from the hotel primarily geared towards up-selling which is annoying, and lastly the breakfast is just mediocre (very much reminded me of a typical 2-3 star chain hotel). All things considered, it was a nice enough stay, but for $500-700/night, definitely not worth it. I've stayed at nicer beachside hotels along the California coast for less. That said, most of my complaints could, in theory, be easily resolved.

upon check in I did put a request to have a room on the second floor with a nice view but when I arrived they told me nothing is available.also the hotel is very close to 101 and it is very noisy all you could hear was the sound of highway instead of the ocean..also what I didn't like was the private beach was open to public so everybody could walk around the hotel and it was too pricy ..

Beautiful Property

The property is beautiful with views of Pismo beach as well as the rockier coast. Access to a small beach. Lots of spots to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Service was excellent with anything you need a text message away. Breakfast was okay. The music and wine tasting on Thursday night was wonderful. Loved the refillable water bottles and filling station. The only issue we had was the very thin walls which allowed us to hear dogs, children and couples. Despite that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

A gem on the cliff

This is my go-to getaway spot. Great location with an amazing view, right on the cliff, right over the water. Not to mention its own private cove below. This place is a Gem!

I used expedia the first time for hotel booking and I’m sure I booked Ocean view room, but what hotel sees is a pool view. Something happened during booking I guess, but this is the worst room I have ever seen. We are facing a man in the hot tub, literally 2-3 meters from my bed. We closed the blinds and now we are in a box. I wished I used Booking. And def another hotel. I hated this hotel and room. Worst part of my vacation.
