We did not use the pool or dine in the restaurant this time but the room was clean. I wasn't happy with the fact that the maids skipped our room and then didn't understand a word of English when I asked for towels.

The room was just as I had expected, after seeing the photos online. Even though we went on a rainy day, the facilities and amenities were well kept. When we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly welcome. The remote to our TV did not work and the service at the restaurant could have used some improvement. But, the food was exceptional. Over all, we are looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful property, with many things to enjoy. Artwork and statues, gardens, etc. were exquisite! Room was very nice and comfortable. The only negative was being on the 2nd floor, at the opposite end of the hotel from the elevator. I have knee and walking issues, so it made it hard to get around. I would chose a first floor room next time. Otherwise lovely place. Staff was nice. Restaurant and room service were great!

The grounds at this resort are beautiful. We walked around the property in the evening and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. There were wood carved gazebos and many seating areas to sit and enjoy the evening stars. Lovely place!

Gorgeous grand Tuscan style hotel with beautiful architecture, artwork, piazza and gardens. Everything was upscale, clean and attractive. Spacious comfortable room with excellent bedding and amenties. Cello restaurant was wonderful. Beautiful setting, close to Sensorio.

The location was beautiful. The rooms were really dated. The carpets were pretty dirty and the couch in the room looked like it was falling apart and extremely dirty. The room itself was clean. We were put in the furthest room from the elevator, and it was a huge trek and super inconvenient. The gym was also very tiny and pretty bare- which was disappointing. All of this was pretty lame for the price per night.

Resort was beautiful! Food in dining area was excellent. We did not care for the floor in our room. The lack of carpeting of any kind made the room feel cold and hollow. We also ordered room service, but there was only a low cocktail table to eat at. Very uncomfortable. Room was very clean. Staff was great for the most part. One hostess in the dining area was a bit aloof.
