Spacious & comfortable but needs maintenance.
Our family occupied this rental for a week while attending graduation at Lackland AFB, 20 mins drive. Location was quiet and friendly. Not much nearby other than a small coffee shop few blocks away. The unit is much bigger than expected. clean and somewhat comfortable, but ignored, needs TLC. furniture in living room left much to be desired, seats are hard and more seating would be appreciated, such a waste of good space. 3 of us had hard time finding relaxation here. The dining area was great. The bedrooms are fine, beds get mixed reviews, some said comfortable others too hard. No dresser drawers for clothes, closets available. The kitchen and bathroom are in desperate need of repairs and where we found the most discontent. Not enough of anything in the kitchen. They left just enough plates for 3 of us. I would not describe as fully equipped, no courtesy essentials like foil, bags, spices or coffee. There’s a Keurig station but no Keurig. very small coffee pot only makes 4 cups at a time. everything needs attention; cabinets, stove, floors. The bathroom is also disappointing. It’s a good size but broken shower head needs to be replaced. The water gets nice and HOT with good pressure but the faulty head makes it impossible to enjoy. shower curtain too small does not wrap around tub so water gets out. One mirror in house is small bathroom mirror. The AC worked well. Quiet until others came in upstairs, we could hear EVERYTHING! Great communication from hosts. Felt safe. Thanks
