Not up to Travelocity's standards

Beautiful beach but rooms were dated, no AC, toilets didn't work, no hot water, leaking vents and jacuzzi, no clean towels, room phone did not work, no access to WiFi, rude staff to Americans, did not get promised amenities that came with room, i.e.: free daily massages, free access to restaurants. No hurricane plan. Had to share a room for 24 hours with a stranger, did not get three meals during hurricane, was not told when restaurant opened after hurricane. Had to fight to get a key to a new room after ours flooded.

Very dissapointing...

It was my first trip to DR. I was very excited to book this hotel as the "Superior room" offered in the vacation package looked great in the pictures- nice bed,tall vaulted ceiling...none of that was true. We got room that had no high ceiling, had awfull smell from mold/humidity and dirty. The bathroom was the worst part. Rusty fixtures,mold on the shower ceiling, no toilet paper holder just holes in the wall. Mattress not comfy but worse than that was the bedding-really smelled bad. I was afraid to look at the pillow condition. Blanket was old and ripped. After few days we felt sick from breathing the stinky moldy air and we decided to complain. The only solution they had was that cleaning lady would come and spray the room. They refused to switch us to the different room. The food wasn't good either. Very basic. Even the restaurants that were included were not good. Overall the hotel was old,moldy with no good food.The only nice thing about this hotel was the beach. I would never go back to this hotel and I would never recommended to anyone.

This hotel was a horrible choice.

Pros: nothing at all
Cons: everything needs to improve
The staff was very rude. The initial room we received was dirty and the house maid was beyond rude.The next day, She was in the hotel room looking around after she had cleaned the room hours later.The staff in general had zero hospitality. The bell boy "lost " one of our luggages .I had a compliant and the manager didn't even take the time to talk to us. The food was terrible wifi there also is poor. Will never return don't make the same mistake.

Beautiful grounds and friendly staff

Pros: The grounds and staff were wonderful
Cons: A wider selection of food for vegetarians
My daughter and I went for her birthday. When we arrived we discovered our reservation had been entered into the resorts system with the wrong date. Daritza the clerk checking us in sent us over to the bar to get a drink while she fixed the reservation and even upgraded our room for us. That night we went to the buffet place for dinner and met Francis a waiter. He made sure we had a good time. Always smiling and on my daughters birthday he and a few other waiters he arranged brought her a cake and sang happy birthday to her. The resort's staff was very friendly. The grounds were beautiful. The food was really good and plentiful with lots of options (unless you were a vegetarian like my daughter).The room was just average and the water pressure in the showers was low. The resort accepts US currency (a fact we wish we had known before we changed our money at the airport).

The worst hotel in all Punta Cana

Our room was a disaster. They gave us a suite with a broken toilet, broken mini fridge and no air conditioning. They would not clean our room even though we called. My room key would not work because they took us out of our room without saying anything. We booked for a friend for one night and they did not give her any towels or bed sheets and what's worse, they charged us more for the crappy service. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone and I would rather pay more.

Great price but not what I expected.

The hotel was reasonably priced but not the best hotel. Staff was great. Beach was full of seaweed. Food in the buffet was not good. Speciality restaurants were good. Sliding glass door to my balcony would not lock. Staff was notified multiple times and they never fixed it. Would not go back!

We had a great stay at the Caribe Club.

Overall, we are very pleased with this hotel. We stayed for a week and had a blast. Our room was steps away from the ocean, pool, the restaurants, and beach bar. All the activities you could want to do were right there. We went scuba diving with Scuba Aquatic, parasailing (don't pay more than $80 for two people), and many more things. The all-inclusive was very handy as you didn't have to carry cash around with you. The food was pretty good and the drinks were even better. The rooms were a little outdated, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyways. The only thing I had a problem with in the room, was the bed mattress was thin and hard as a brick. I've been to the Bahamas, but the Dominican was much better. It was forecasted to rain every day, but it only rained at night for a couple hours and the days were very sunny. There were a few weeds on the beach, but weren't too bad till the last day we were there. The last day there were quite a few on the beach. This is a very good value for the price. I would stay there again...just next time I will upgrade to a suite.

Beach great, but so much lacking

Pros: location on the ocean. Swimming pools were good.
Cons: See above. Room lacked minimal amenities. Food was fairly awful, as were the "free" drinks. I would have gladly paid more for a decent wine.
Location: The hotel seemed to be fairly far from things to do. I did ride (horseback) and segway. Both were OK, but could have been better.
special restaurants were either not available or poor, Room had no toilet roll holder, tissue, coffee pot, pen, limited towels. Lock on sliding glass doors to balcony was broken. bed lite didn't work. WiFi in the reception area was awful. Buffet was mediocre at best. I had a photo delivered to the hotel and it was rejected even tho my name and room no. were clearly written. Drinks were just awful. Only white wine was undrinkable. Pools were great. As was ocean location. Lobby was clean and attractive.

Don't stay at this hotel. Food is horrible, staff is rude, A/C is poor, don't go by the pictures you see online.
