El Mercado Breakfast, lunch and dinner are very good at this restaurant. They offer a lot of varieties for everyone at Mexican, Vegan, Eggs Stations, Salads, Shakes, natural juices, fruits, yogurts, Crepes,Pattisseries, Nice food well seasoned and a vast variety of choices for the meat, seafood and veggie lovers, Gaspacho was very tasty, but should be hotter and the only thing we hated was the strawberry icecream. It tasted like medicine. Atmosphere is cozy and service was very attentive. The italian restaurant Threads and Noodles was very well decorated. We tried the caesar salad which was delicious. Also, the broussel sprout salad was not for my liking because I preferred them roasted. The pumpkin and Gorgonzola soup was well seasoned and delicious. The pizza was awesome and the ribs excel expectations. Our best choice was the Mongol menu at Tempest. It was awesome. You can create your dinner with choices such as beef, chicken, duck, pork, shrimp, mussels, fish, scallops and an assortment of vegetables with three kinds of noodles to choose from, white rice or fried rice and your choice of Teppanyaki, oyster or sweet and sour sauce. A most go. For lunch every day from 12-2 there is BBQ at the main pool and the Navigator with a good skirt steak and fettuccini with alfredo pasta. And if your lucky, you will get your own coconut with water. Some nights they do Havana nights, Tex Mex or something special. Kidz club was very good my kid enjoy it. The best waterpark

It is our first visit to the Ziva Cap Cana. The quality of the food and drinks is impressive, variety of dishes every day, I recommend the a la carte restaurant, excellent shows every night for children and adults, the employees work hard to make you feel like at home.Darlin, Yazmin, Pedro Hdz, Maximo, Rafael. Beautiful resort, very family friendly; there were always activities for entertainment for all ages , the food was delicious. I love that they serve you in the buffets (this helps with hygiene). The pools are beautiful. Everywhere you go there so many beautiful works of art! The staff were extremely friendly and respectful! Place was very clean! AC always working well! Will definitely come back a few more times ! I love it here :)

Wonderful relaxing family vacation
My wife and I took our 2 sons (11 and 16) on a family vacation to Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana in July. We had an amazing time. The customer service was top notch and all of the staff seemed to go out of their way to make sure that we had whatever we needed and ensured we were enjoying our stay. Even though the resort was fully booked at the time of our stay it, it never felt crowded. There were always plenty of options for food, drink, and fun at all times. The water park was perfect for several hours of fun each day with the kids; the pools were well clean and well maintained; the beach was beautiful and the resort clears away the seaweed each morning. Bars and restaurants were really good; room service was excellent. Our butler was exceptional. We truly had an all around fantastic experience and we will definitely be coming back with more family so we can relive this amazing experience! Great resort!

The property and the activities are really good. The only recommendation I would give to the administration is to consider changing the hours in which some of the restaurants are open. The main buffet restaurant closes in the afternoon and reopens at 6:30pm. The main options for dinner open at 5:30 and only restaurant that is open before 5:30pm (when the other restaurants open) is really small, can’t sit big crowds and only offers fast foods. Which means that, for the people that like to have early dinner, the options are almost zero. Also, the restaurants do not accept reservations so get ready to wait about 45 minutes for a table if you want to have dinner by 6-7 pm.
