We moved from Grand Sirenis and finised our vacation at Dreams Onyx. We loved this resort, the staff are super friendly and attentive. Shout out to Karina from slide pool bar, Deiry lifeguard from pool slides, and Luis lifeguard from beach. They did a great job cleaning beach even though had seaweed and we were able to get in. I would recommend going early in morning. The rooms were very clean, spacious and even though we went in August the air conditioning was great. Also, they have a VR Arcade where the attendant Claudia was super nice. You can buy package for kids to play until midnight every day. The restaurants were well kept and food was excellent. Only bummer there is you can't make reservations. They have preferred members but i dont think much difference there if you dont want to pay upgrade. We had a great time and already planning to go back for Christmas.

Loved the hotel. Unfortunately, we all got pretty ill the last night there. Bacteria in the water in these countries is serious and inevitable. Other than that, the beginning of our trip was amazing. Our pool guy was absolutely great!

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at this resort. The standout features were definitely the pools and the breakfast options, which were both excellent. One of the biggest perks of this property is the access to Breathless, which added a fun and vibrant atmosphere to our trip. The food throughout the resort was generally on par with other all-inclusive experiences I’ve had. While not exceptional, it wasn’t bad either. Interestingly, we usually find the à la carte restaurants to offer a better experience than the buffet, but this time it was the opposite. Our group found the restaurant meals to be either bland or overly salted, which was a bit disappointing. On a positive note, there was a wide variety of vegetarian options available, while I’m not vegetarian I know my vegetarian friends struggle to find good food options -would definitely recommend this resort to my vegetarian friends. The property itself was well-maintained and beautiful, with no major complaints. The pools were a highlight—clean, spacious, and inviting. The beach did have a fair amount of seaweed, but the staff worked diligently every day to clean it up. Service-wise, our experience was mixed. Some staff members were warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Others, however, came across as indifferent or even rude, which made the service feel inconsistent. Entertainment throughout the resort was great and added a lot of energy and fun to the overall experience.

Some of the amenities were not functioning properly such as the tv and room safe. However, customer service was excellent although maintenance did not speak any English, I was thankful for a google translator app. Overall, it was a beautiful resort and stay was very nice and comfortable!

I really enjoyed our trip to the dreams onyx punta cana. The resort was impeccably clean. Upon arrival we were assigned a personal concierge (Breilin) who was amazing. Everything was great I’m so happy I decided to go with dream onyx if you decide to go visit punta Cana I recommend to go there and also get the vip access to breathless it’s a night life resort but dream onyx is definitely on the calmer side but you get best of both worlds.
