Excellent, updating the room was very expensive. They charged too much money for a beach view, which I do not recommend. They never provided information on the state of the beach, which does not seem attractive at all. The rooms in building 8

Rat poop in my sofa There was a leak in my room Nothing is all inclusive I was charged for seafood and spa there are no free amenities as advertised. In addition I spent a lot to be at aqua live there wasn’t any food there that was even edible. All the food was disgusting I had to beg my butler to show me restaurants off the resort so that I could not starve my entire trip. Also, besides the pool in my room there weren’t any nice vip amenities as promised. I was so unhappy everyday at live aqua I was discriminated and treated less than because I didn’t speak Spanish I was antagonized and ignored by numerous staff members. Rat droppings and leaks in room is low standards and it wasn’t what I expected at all. If I could rate this location no stars I would would never go back.

Pools were great. Beaches were not so great due to seaweed season but that's not anyone's fault but ours. Plan around seaweed season if you want to spend time at the beach. One unfortunate thing about this resort is the food. The bfast and lunch buffet is probably your best bet for the entire stay. We tried the french, sushi, hibachi, and Mediterranean options and we did not like any of the food we had. I wish they had put a little more effort into making the food. I understand you can't expect much from an all inclusive but the food was quite disappointing. Please work on improving food and I think this resort will do really well. DO NOT ORDER THE FRENCH ONION SOUP at the french restaurant. It's not soup. It's bland carmelized onions in a dry bread browl with absolutely no soup inside. It wasn't just our table but i noticed MANY tables leave it untouched after they took a look inside the bread bowl. DO NOT ORDER THE RAMEN at the japanese restaurant. It does not taste good at all and I am asian. I know what ramen should taste like and it shouldnt taste the way they make it. The hibachi was not so bad but you have wait for people to fill up the hibachi table seats in order to eat even if the restaurant is not busy and there are long waits on busy nights. One more advice is, unless you have the money to do so, do not fall for the free spa credit for time with sales rep that introduces offers for a form of time share. We unfortunately fell for it and wasted 2.5 hours.

This property was everything I needed to be. I was looking for a relaxing time away from kids and that’s exactly what my experience was at Live Aqua. There was just the right amount of things to do that also allowed you to relax in between. Note this is NOT a party resort but your experience will be whatever you make it by the entertainment provided. My only complaint would be the amount of mosquitos that would enter our room due to daily room services, but what can expect when you’re in their climate lol. Also if you can get a room with the private check-in and butler service do it! You’ll have a chance to grab some premium drinks, if thats what you like. Overall I would love to make a trip back, the staff really goes above and beyond to make the experience wonderful!!

We stayed in the Tierra room and my god was it worth every penny. Everything from the fantastic pool to the beach just steps away was awesome. The staff / butler was phenomenal, they always checked up on us made sure all our needs were met. My fiancé got a little cold and they went out of their way to make her tea that wasn’t in the menu. Just a local remedy. Can’t wait to go back!!!

I didn't like the room, it should have been bigger for a VIP room. When you go out to your private pool you can't enjoy it well because there are too many mosquitoes. I only recommend the Italian restaurant and the breakfast and lunch buffets. I didn't like the other restaurants.
