Every interaction felt personal, and their professionalism and friendliness made us feel truly welcome throughout our entire visit. Food Quality & Dining Options: The food was consistently excellent—beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. We were especially impressed by the wide variety of dining options available. Whether it was a casual bite, a fine dining experience, or something in between, every meal exceeded expectations and offered something unique. Location: The location is another highlight. We stayed here for my daughter’s 25th birthday and could not have had a more amazing experience. From the moment we arrived the staff immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. Our rooms got upgraded to ocean view suites which were absolutely stunning. The food at Casa Bella was delicious and well varied. We especially loved the smoothie station, where each day we would look forward to getting our smoothie made. We ate at the steakhouse which was absolutely delicious, and one night even ran late to make our reservation for the Italian restaurant which my daughter really wanted to go to, and the Director of Food and Beverage, Elias, went out of his way to make sure we could get a reservation. To Elias, Juan Jose, Robert, and all the servers and staff at Sanctuary Cap Cana, THANK YOU for making our trip absolutely unforgettable. We look forward to visiting again!

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at sanctuary cap Cana. We had a wonderful time with beautiful views. The ocean water had a lot of algae during this time of the year, which is August. I was told there’s less algae during the cooler months. Don’t expect to get into the ocean water. But there are so many amenities, including several pools that were satisfying. The food options are great, but the communication is a little sketchy between staff. Overall, we had a great time.

Everyone who worked at the resort was super nice and there were plenty of pools to hang around in. Definitely a great place if you just want to chill and relax but wish there were more activities to do during the day time.

Sanctuary Cap cana was a very clean and beautiful property. The rooms were very clean and beautiful, the lobby was gorgeous and the food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor and options. It was quiet and relaxing however it needed a little umph to liven up the place a little such more activities for the day and night. The pools were nice but were very hot and not temperature controlled and the beach was very small (a few meters )and filled with seaweed. The smell was very overpowering. Ocean views were all around but the excess seaweed made the water look brown which was underwelming if you're looking for blue ocean views. We went in August so seaweedis typical at this time. Otherwise the resort was beautiful with lush gardens and walkways and taff were very friendly. Worth a visit.

Sanctuary Cap Cana

Stayed in the castle suite and the view was amazing. Our butler was top notch. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The sargassum was expected so it wasn’t a let down for us. 5 days of total relaxation!

Even though it's not the busy season, I feel they should either advise their patrons of limited availability for meals or make other arrangements. I did not bring dress-up clothing so was unable to go to any of the "reservation" restaurants on the property. As a result, I ate at either the coffee shop or the spot next to destination bar.

Hotel, pools and accommodations were lovely. Pool area shuts down very early, may be the norm here. Knew seaweed was an issue but for this specific property we were not advised in advance the beach was completely covered and not accessible. Spa was enjoyable and we spent a morning in the Hidrotherapry area. Restaurant hours were limited some days but our meals were enjoyable, definitely loved the pizza! Overall, I would recommend the Sanctuary but not if you are prefer to spend most of your time at the beach/ocean.

Place was terrible. Staff rude. Beach smelled full of seaweed and unusable. Food got me poisoned after i went to their ‘best restaurant’ wok. Would never go again!!
