The Amenities, Welcoming environment and property in general was amazing. Staff didn’t pay much attention to details and totally missed part of my main reason there. Nonetheless, H10 is Fabulous resort and I’ll visit again. Very much recommendable

The pool was a lovely temperature and there was always something fun going on. We loved the swim up bar. I wish the staff enforced the rule about not holding the lounge chairs because they were usually all taken before 9am and people took off for hours so no one else could use the chairs. Also would like to see the pool a bit better maintained and cleaned.

I’ll start with the BEST: We were assigned a butler-not realizing you don’t have to have them if you don’t want-but for us, he did come in very handy. Jose was wonderful and often went above and beyond. Example-Our daughter was sick when we landed on his way into work he actually stopped at the pharmacy and grabbed Flonase for me. the LITTLE things!! The property is absolutely amazing. I can’t speak highly enough about all it had to offer. Pools, beaches, bars…There was something to entertain everyone!!! It was well kept. Nice beach with a little lagoon off to the side(perfect for calm waters) The staff is friendly and most work hard. Room was cleaned daily and even bed turned down most nights 💚. And we LOVE cats(not everyone does but I bet they like them more than they like Lizards mice and rats!) I do wish they’d put a donation box up and get the male cats neutered we would’ve left $100 to contribute to that but it was a great source of entertainment for my kids! The coffee shop is the BEST and those ladies have it down!! And burger bar decent Rooms need some real TLC especially bathrooms. And humidity in rooms had our clothes damp and smelly. And FYI watch the sales pitch people selling timeshare bs. Good excursions around Food was just ok! Buffet was best option and Sakura. Steakhouse needs to perfect cooking steak and Italian was terrible. Again best restaurant-coffee shop! Get rid of seed oil used to cook EVERYTHING-PERFECT the food and then it’s a 5

TEN OUT OF TEN ALL AROUND! From the moment we walked in the door to this moment,of reflection, Ocean El Faro made us feel like VIP guests. When we got to Ocean, we were greeted warmly by Eduardo and then Yeison's smile and patience as he got us checked in. We also met Fermin, who is one of the best! He speaks five languages and will do anything for anyone. Just when you think it can't get any better, we met our butler for the week, Jose Miguel. WOWWWW! Since we had a group of 14 for my mother's 80th birthday celebration, we stayed in Privilege Suites which comes along with a personal butler to help you with your every need. Jose arranged everything for us and helped us with things we didn't even know we needed! The resort is very large with SO many perks. It can be overwhelming at first because there is so much to do! Jose made everything incredibly easy and accessible. Our group consisted of ages 9 to 80, and we came with various needs. My mom doesn't get around easily and Jose made sure we had trams picking us up and dropping us off whenever she needed it. Jose made dinner reservations for us every night so that we could try out all of the restaurants. He made sure my mom got a beautiful birthday cake for the day of her party! Jose greeted us every morning with a daily agenda of activities, and a time for dinner. He came to see us every day. Our experience was truly unforgettable and we are so grateful to the staff at Ocean. Unbeatable!

Amazing Adults-Only Getaway at Ocean El Faro (El Beso Side) We stayed at Ocean El Faro in Punta Cana, on the El Beso adults-only, all-inclusive side, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food and alcohol were fantastic for an all-inclusive resort. We highly recommend the steakhouse, the teppanyaki restaurant, and Pez Dama for lunch — all were consistently delicious and well worth visiting. The coffee shop, Mike’s, is absolutely amazing; while there can be a bit of a wait at times, it’s understandable given how large and popular the resort is. The ice cream station is also top-notch and such a fun treat throughout the day. What really makes this resort stand out is the staff — they are absolutely incredible. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely wants to make your stay special. The architecture and interior design of the hotel are beyond gorgeous; everywhere you look feels modern, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed. The beach is okay, but we definitely recommend spending beach time on the adults-only side, which we found to be better and more relaxing. The pool scene and entertainment are a solid 10/10. There is always something happening: yoga at 9am, games at 11am, aerobics at noon, and we even did a foam party, which was an absolute blast and a highlight of our trip. Nighttime entertainment is exceptional — lively, fun, and never boring. We will definitely be back!! Absolutely a wonderful time!

Great value, excellent service, and a fun family stay We had a great stay at Ocean El Faro and felt it was excellent value for the price. Overall, we would definitely return. The beach was one of the highlights. There’s an area with rougher waves that were fun, and if you walk a bit further down, you can find a calmer section that’s perfect for relaxing and swimming. It was nice having both options. Our concierge, Jose, was outstanding. He booked all of our restaurant reservations and was always quick to help with any questions or concerns. One surprise was that the resort does not carry alcohol-free beer, but Jose went above and beyond by picking some up for me off the resort for a small charge and having it stocked in our room — much appreciated. The restaurants were very good. Dolce Vita was our favorite, and we enjoyed it so much that we went twice. The Mexican restaurant was our least favorite. The buffet had lots of good options, and the snack bar was perfect for a quick bite when you didn’t want a full meal. One downside was that there were no sit-down breakfast or lunch options available if you weren’t part of the Privilege Club and were traveling with kids. This was a minor inconvenience, as the buffet and snack bar were quick and efficient and actually allowed us to spend more time at the beach. The lazy river was an excellent addition, though it could be frustrating at times as some guests would “hog” the tubes. Overall great resort and would reccomend.

Resort is nice but not great, the food options were limited. Food in buffet tends to be all the same. The fact that you can’t get into one of the restaurants with open toed shoes and dress shorts ( for men) is ridiculous, we are there on vacation. Coffee shop is great but the staff don’t really seem to like their jobs. The early morning mad dash to reserve beach and pool chairs is also crazy, even though there are signs everywhere that says you’re not supposed to, nothing is enforced. I reserved two rooms, one with 2 beds for my adult children, when they went to their room there was only 1 bed and we were told the resort was full and they could not accommodate. They sent an additional tiny single bed, not what I paid for. The mini bar in my room didn’t work, spoke to our concierge who said he sent someone and said it was fixed but it was not. The pools were all very nice, the best part of the resort but sadly we will not return.

The room was amazing 3rd floor great view. We had jose Miguel as our concierge he was amazing we always had reservations. The pool was great clean big pool bars were fantastic. We went for Christmas they had shows and everything decorated I was very happy the place is beautiful. The lagoon to the left of the property on the ocean was nice. The ocean in front of the resort, beach chairs. Was a little rough, but it didn’t stop anyone there from having a good time. I really enjoyed my trip and would definitely go back

Overall experience: Good, but with some notable issues. The airport transfer arranged through Talixo was a terrible experience. After landing, we waited nearly two hours for a driver who never showed up. Communication was extremely poor. I ultimately had to take a taxi to the hotel and pay an additional $70 on top of what I had already paid with the original reservation. For the return to the airport, I canceled the transfer altogether since they were unavailable. As for the hotel itself, the property is very large and generally clean. The room was clean but outdated. The New Year’s Eve celebration was well done — fun atmosphere and great fireworks. The beach, however, was disappointing. It’s quite small for a hotel of this size, and there are many underwater rocks, which made swimming unpleasant. There were also not enough beach chairs unless you arrived very early in the morning (around 5 a.m.). Overall rating: ⭐ 3.4 stars

Beautiful property. Overall a wonderful experience. We didn’t get the chance to enjoy the pools. Guests come out as early as 7a & ‘saved’ their spots for the day, the same with the beach chairs. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. Music from the various pools was louder than needed, it carried all the way to the beaches. Food in the restaurants was underwhelming, stick to the buffet.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Ocean El Faro with many highlights throughout the trip. The food exceeded our expectations, especially the Christmas night dining, which was memorable and well done. We also really enjoyed the entertainment, the overall layout of the resort, and how easy it was to get around the property. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made a big difference in our experience. We especially appreciated having an assigned concierge, who worked closely with us and provided excellent support during our stay. The beach itself was more rocky than expected and not our favorite part of the resort, which is one reason this wasn’t a full five-star experience. We did have a concern during our stay that required management involvement. While it impacted our experience at the time, the hotel management handled the situation professionally, which we appreciated. Overall, a great stay with strong service and atmosphere, and with a few areas that could be improved to consistently reach a five-star level.
