The room wasn't great at first but I mentioned everything that was wrong to our online concierge who immediately made contact when we checkin and it was all taken care of within an hour. Our online concierge Carlos Enrique Buayone was available at all times to assist in making dinner reservations, ideas to do around the area, or any questions we had, was quick to help. The property was easy to navigate and was clean. Food was good my favorite restaurant is Sakura and Margarita.

Soy de las personas que nunca dejo reseñas pero la realidad es que en este hotel perdimos nuestro dinero. Las habitaciones están llenas de humedad y cucarachas, no importa a cual habitación te cambien en todas pasa lo mismo. Las opciones de la comida son sumamente limitadas y hubo una noche que hicieron un buffet diferente que en realidad solo tenía 4 o 5 opciones. Por favor no vayan créanme que van a perder su dinero y van a pasar unas horribles vacaciones.

We traveled with two 4 year olds and specifically booked this hotel for the kids pool with all the slides and activities. Unfortunately, this was closed for renovation. While I understand it's necessary, it would have been nice to get the information beforehand. We wasted an hour for the "presentation" after which we were promised our welcome gift. Didn't get the gift and lost 1 hour of our lives for this. It felt forced, and very aggressive, we talked to 3 different sales reps, filled out forms and were shown other nicer rooms. it's was 1h in (with 2 kids that were eager to go to the pool) and still waiting for the "presentation" before we opted out. And I'm more mad at myself for not declining this right away. Getting a heads-up that this is a lengthy SALES presentation would have been nice. Overall, we did have a great time. Loved the lazy river. The virtual concierge Carlos was great, made sure we had everything we needed and made restaurant reservations for us. I would recommend the hotel in general, but would decline the sales pitch right away.

Everything was clean. No issues with pools - they were clean every day. It can be a hike to get around due to large property but they have trolleys constantly coming through to take you where you want to go within the resort. Had no issues with staff. Everyone was friendly. Made good buddies with pool bar staff. ATT: Kevin Paulino was a great butler. He checked in on us every day. If there was anything we needed, he was on in very quickly.

Tengo una condición en donde no puedo comer ciertas cosas y de verdad agradezco que en cada lugar que fui intentaron ayudarme y apoyarme lo más que pudieron ofreciéndome distintas alternativas. Por otro lado, me hubiera gustado que se ofrecieran más actividades. Que la discoteca estuviera abierta y más accesibilidad a los demás restaurantes entiendo que estaban en temporada baja y por eso no estaban todos abiertos al mismo tiempo. Fuera de ahí nuestra experiencia fue muy buena.

Absolutely loved our stay at Ocean El Faro! The resort is stunning — from the clean, spacious rooms to the beautiful beach and pools. The staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling, making us feel so welcome. The food options were fantastic, and every restaurant had something special. Perfect mix of relaxation and fun — would definitely come back again!
