I stayed at Grand Sirenis from August 20-24th and we did not have a pleasant experience. I would rate this hotel at a 2 star at most. It was very hot in Punta Cana and the air conditioning in room was not great, felt warm, had to be changed rooms due to cleanliness. Our second room the bathroom had a leak and phone wires exposed. TV was also not working. Restaurants were very hot. Not a lot of activities for kids once pools close. Waterpark looked very unsafe, my kids love waterparks and didn't go down slides that much due to looking unsafe. If you are not a member don't get to use golf carts. Service was not great, the hotel was packed and the people that worked there did not seem happy to be waiting on you. Restaurants were also not well kept. The entire hotel needs a lot of maintenance. Do not go here if you are planning on going in August. They did not clean seaweed on beach well, couldn't use beach.

This is not a 5 star resort. At best a 3 star resort. The rooms are very dirty and you have to beg to get clean towls, clean bedding and water in the room. We had to ask 8 times to get clean towels over three days. The staff in the buffet is so rude they yelled at my children and took thier plate of food and put it on a napkin and told us to leave becuase there was no room for us. The breakfast is the only meal tht is decent but the staff is so rude we couldn't get drinks with our meals. So disappointed and we will never be coming back to this resort. The seaweed was knee deep on the beach so the pools were overcrowed and very dirty. $8k for a trip and we should of stayed home. The property is very outdated and the pictures are from a long time again. The chairs in the dining rooms are gross and covered in dried food. Just a awful trip and sad we wasted so much money on it. Staff wants you to do your review at the resort to give them 5 stars. For us it is a 2 star resort and we are not fancy by any means. Do not waster your money.

Housekeeping didn’t clean the room properly. They miss leaving towels and when we call we never received until the next day. Our soap and shampoo was never refilled we had to purchase our own shampoo and soap. Front desk won’t answer the telephones, phones ring 40 times before someone answer if your are lucky. My only good time was at the buffet where I meet Ana and Victor they were the best, they make our stay pleasant, thanks to them our stay make cense they make us forget our bad experiences wile we were with them. This property has nice friendly employees but the management needs to put a plan of training for them to be consistent.

We loved the friendliness of the people and employees, but the food, cleanliness of the rooms, & the water damage/leaks in the room made for a challenging experience. We told the Concierge about the leak in the room and they said people would come to assist. Each day we were on site we informed the Concierge and to no avail nothing was done. No new room offered, nothing. The last night on property is when someone finally came and all they did was change the air filter-which was again not solving the problem. We had buckets and towels on the floor every night we were there. We had to step over wet towels/areas each night. Despite this, we enjoyed the friendliness of the people and the accessibility to the Kids club and other amenities on site. The live band was very entertaining, Archery was informative and the pool areas were amazing. The pool area was beautifully designed and water was warm and welcoming. We are fellow Caribbean people, and we were looking forward to authenticity and flavourful dishes to be offered but we couldn’t find any. The buffet restaurants had a variety of food but the taste of the island was definitely missing. The area/hotel is beautiful but a few things could have been different for us to fully enjoyed our stay.

The service was good and the room was clean and very comfortable. What i didn’t like was that in the steakhouse restaurant our food was cold as some other food at the buffet. There were also many flies. On the other hand i think the Aqua park needs some mantainance, especially the stairs to get to the slides and the kids slides. Apart from that we had a good time.

The property was extremely overcrowded, which significantly impacted the overall experience. Service was well below expectations — I had to repeatedly remind staff to clean the room, and even then, the cleaning was superficial at best. The food was decent, but there was always a wait just to get a seat at the buffet. The dining area was chaotic, and the servers seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Even getting a glass of water required multiple requests, let alone ordering any other drinks. Overall, not the relaxing stay I was hoping for.

**Terrible Resort Experience – June 24-29** I rarely write reviews, but after the week my family and I just endured, I feel compelled to share our experience to help others avoid the same mistake. From the moment we arrived on June 24, things went downhill fast. We waited 45 minutes just to check in, only to be directed to a BBQ buffet that was infested with flies. Not exactly the welcome anyone would expect from a "resort." We had booked through Expedia, which turned out to be a major issue. Because of this, we were told we weren’t “in the system” and could not make dinner reservations until the next day. That meant no restaurant access on our first night, as all dinner options require a reservation — and those restaurants don’t even open until 6 p.m. In the meantime, we were forced to eat at buffets that were overrun with flies and birds flying freely indoors. Hygiene was clearly not a priority. Our room was shocking. Black mold lined the bathroom walls, thick dust was caked onto the walls, and the headboard was visibly filthy. The couch had white stains, and the floors were disgusting — within 10 minutes, my children's feet were black. It stayed that way the entire trip, despite housekeeping visits. The room was beyond unacceptable. The pool, which is a major attraction for families, closed at 6 p.m. every night not family friendly. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY OR FAMILY TIME HERE.

No bottled water was available at the bars or restaurants, and no one came to fix our clogged bathroom despite repeated calls. I was traveling with a baby and had to search for another hotel during our trip. After two miserable days, we finally found a great hotel with excellent service. Avoid this resort—it ruined our vacation.
