This resort-like lakefront home reminds one of multi-million dollar properties in Key West that are surrounded by palm trees and tropical waterways. We are proud of our 5 Star VRBO rating so please read what our guests have to say about our home and how they enjoyed their visit.

We have recently remodel our home which includes a 4th bedroom off the pool. This is best described as an extra master on-suite with private shower and bathroom. An additional toliet was added to the laundry.

The central bathroom has also be remodeled with a huge walk in shower and our new utility room offers an additional 4th bathroom.

The home now comprises 4 full bedrooms, 3 showers and 4 toilets providing extra comfort for larger groups.

The exterior has also had upgrades with patio furniture, pool area and lake front areas.


The Islands Community, located in highly acclaimed Gilbert, is the 2nd safest city in the U. S. and is just 25 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport and only 8 minutes from the Mesa Gateway Airport.

Comprised of beautiful man-made lakes and custom homes, a desert oasis has been created that is central to the Valley of the Sun’s championship golf courses, spring training facilities and shopping malls. Just 12 miles southeast of Phoenix, sister cities such as Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Chandler are minutes away via quick freeway access to 101, 202, I-10 and I-60 for connections north, south, east, and west.

The expansive master bedroom with king size bed is adjacent to an oversized bathroom including his and hers sinks. Also included is a large Jacuzzi tub along with a large walk in shower and closet.
Two additional bedrooms with an oversized den with sleeper sofa offer comfortable accommodations for 6 more.

The great room floor plan offers a large living area, a gourmet kitchen with island, and, a formal dining area that opens out to a covered patio with inviting play pool. The pool is heated at 85 degrees, skin friendly and there is no extra cost! The patio offers casual dining with BBQ grill, and the balcony above has seating for 8 and offers spectacular sunset views and of the lake.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with subzero fridge, microwave, double ovens, dishwasher, coffee makers, tea pot, blender, cooking utensils, complete dinner set for 10, wine glasses and all the kitchen basics that you will possibly need

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS STAY

We spent 12 days at this incredible home and didn’t want to leave! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight for us was definitely the gorgeous pool and the stunning view — we spent hours soaking up the sun and taking in the scenery. Every day felt like a dream. The outdoor space is perfect for morning coffee or evening wine, and the location was peaceful and private. Truly one of our favorite vacations — we’re already talking about coming back!

Enjoyable Family Stay

This property worked well for our family vacation. My parents (in their 70s), brother and his partner, sister and niece (9), my daughter (14 months) and I came from across the country for a week stay. The house was easy to find and The Islands complex was quiet and safe. The house was incredibly well-stocked with nice appliances and everything we needed/wanted to cook, enjoy the pool, and relax. It was very hot for part of the week and the pool was perfect and even had some shade most of the day and house stayed cool with lots fans and good AC. My one critique is that other than the main room, the beds weren’t the best (one too hard, one too soft, twins seemed extra narrow) but the bedding was comfortable and there was plenty of space. It was also awesome to have not just a pack n play but also a high chair for the baby. Would recommend this spot, especially for a group looking to cook and eat together at home. Access to the grapefruit tree was a lovely bonus - the flowers smelled wonderful and the fruit was delicious.

What a lovely getaway

This a beautiful home that had everything we needed and more. Several comfortable outdoor sitting areas, warm and clean pool, with an amazing view of the lake. We enjoyed morning coffee on the upper deck! Kayaks were fun as well. Nice surrounding area with sidewalks. Owners were quick to respond to questions. Definitely recommended!

Lovely quiet oasis in the desert

Perfect spot to relax in the pool and view the lake. House has a lot of space to spread out and wonderful kitchen for cooking anything you could imagine. Owners are very friendly and responsive if you have any questions. Stayed in the summer time when most people don’t rent but the AC was great and the pool was refreshing. Beds were comfy and well stocked with nice towels. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Property and Great Location

This is an exquisite home in a perfect location. Plenty of privacy and still close to restaurants and shops. The pool is clean and warm with no extra charge; the lake and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. It’s extremely comfortable and very well stocked. A complete chefs kitchen, great fire pit, heated swimming pool, bikes, boats and the best hosts! Spent Thanksgiving week here and wanted to make Thanksgiving dinner - woowzer! Everything I needed, felt completely at home. Would def recommend!!

Outstanding properties and owners

This was our second stay, first was August 2021, and we came back because we enjoyed it so much. Staying here feels like staying with a relative that has welcomed us into their home while they are away. On this stay, we had some problems with the pool and this is where we got to interact with the owners and can say that they were fantastic. They responded to the issue very quickly, actually listened and understood the issues and worked with us, to include having people over to make repairs on the day before Thanksgiving. They bent over backwards to do everything that they could. We were very impressed and appreciative. Things happen in life, mechanical things break, but if everyone treated their customers the way Rennae and Fred did, the world would be a much better place. I rarely leave online reviews, but my experience working with them was so great and atypical in the world today, that I wanted to share. Things don't always go according to plan and it's how people react to it that matters to me and the feedback I value. I couldn't have asked for anything more and highly recommend the owners and property.

Awesome home for a family reunion!

We couldn't have been happier with this home or our stay. The house had everything that we possibly could have wanted-a well stocked kitchen, enough room for all of us (kids and adults), the pool and outdoor area was very nice to have a morning coffee at, and the owners were very friendly, responsive and helpful with some things that came up during our stay. I would highly recommend!

Awesome Lakefront Location

The house was in good condition, well kept, and well appointed with everything a short- or long-term guest may need. The heated pool was awesome in November, and had a great serenity with the Islands Lakes just behind. My only negative is that the master bathroom commode/shower area didn't have a door, just a wood-fold barrier. My husband and I are close, but not close enough to poo with no door. It was odd, but didn't overly impact our stay.

Gorgeous!

Beautiful property, well-heated pool, friendly, generous hosts! This home is stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. Our only disappointment is that we weren't there long enough to enjoy all the great sitting areas inside and out! We sat outside from early morning until late at night, enjoying the sun, the pool and the firepit by the water. Ate dinner and played board games for hours at the outdoor dining table, went up to the upper deck to drink champagne and watch the sunset. Went for walks, kayaked, saw a show at the Musical Instrument Museum. Perfect family getaway, we'd love to make this an annual trip and stay here every time!

My family and I stayed here (all 8 of us) for a wedding. The house, particularly the master bedroom was incredibly spacious with plenty of additional space in the back by the pool, or islands body of water. GREAT little coffee shop near by, highly recommend Grind Time coffee, just a couple mins outside of The Islands neighborhood. The hosts couldn't have been better to work with too! Highly recommend if you've got anything going on in the Gilbert/ Chandler area.

Perfect vacation getaway for the family.

This house was simply amazing. The owners had everything covered and a delight to work with. The house had plenty of room and all the amenities you can ever want from a vacation home in AZ. We brought my parents along as this was their first experience in a VRBO home. Let’s just say that the bar is now set extremely high. The house featured an open floor plan which allowed our family to enjoy each other while cooking and playing games. There was ample room for the chef of the family (mom) to do her magic. The kitchen was stocked with everything one would need including double ovens. The salt water pool was absolutely perfect and easier on our skin than your traditional chlorine pools. The backyard provided several different seating areas to enjoy coffee in the morning, beer in the afternoon or wine in the evening. They had bikes and kayaks along with fishing poles and other fun activities for us to enjoy. The highlight for the kids was getting to feed the baby ducks in the lake out back. Overall the best vacation home we have stayed at. We definitely recommend and will be planning to return in the near future. A/C Cable/Netflix Owners are delightful and shared local places they enjoy Pool and Lakefront (no swimming in the lake)

We travel a lot and know what to expect in VRBO's. This home is very well equipped and had everything we needed. Upon booking, Fred and Rennae provide a room by room list of every detail. The house (or destination) is spacious, well stocked, clean, and beautiful. The pool area and view of the lake will exceed your expectations. The pool was warm and the air just perfect. There is not one thing to complain about!! We hope to return again this year. Thanks to our hosts for a great VRBO visit.
