The room was fine but had a stool for the desk. I am on business so prefer a good chair to work from. WiFi was not always working well so had to hotspot on my US mobile. It is not a quiet neighbourhood!

The room was so small that I had no place to open my suitcase except the bed. The property was very good about changing me to another room that was slightly bigger. I had a question about the bill. I believe I was double charged for the damage fee ($200 x 2) It's been over 10 days and I have not received anything back. There is no continental breakfast per se. There's just a toaster, bread, bagels, a coffee machine and creamer packets. There's no body lotion. Or conditioner supplied in the rooms. When I asked for fresh milk and fruit, I was told, what do I expect from a one star hotel? (that charges the same as a 4 star hotel nearby). And this so called Complimentary breakfast is over at 9.00 a m. Same answer when I asked for bathroom amenities. The location is on the corner of Canal and Lafayette streets, which means that if there is a traffic backup, there's constant honking. Especially from around four o'clock onwards. They might not supply you with milk for your coffee, but they do supply ear plugs, despite the fact that they advertised the hotel as being quiet. To its credit, I did not see any insects.

The room was clean, average or bigger than most NYC hotels. The AC was great, no issues. The bed was comfortable. The lighting was not great in the room or the bathroom. I would suggest adding hooks in the bathroom as there is no place to set your toiletries except the small shelf above the sink. There were no washcloths, but there were some sort of packaged, disposable towels that I never figured out how to use. they dont absorb water so didn't do anything when washing off my makeup. The shower was nice, water pressure was great. The staff was very kind and accommodating.

Ok. Not Great.

The stay was okay. Nothing great. We stayed 3 nights but I'm pretty sure the room was not entered once considering the towels that were used that were placed on the floor per the sign displayed were never replaced. You had to wander through a dingy maintenance area to go to the breakfast room. We've stayed in NYC before in better accommodations at the same price point. It was ok, but I wouldn't go back.

Was a pretty small room. Even for nyc standards. The bed was pretty rough and the breakfast was literally bagels and toast. You do get what you paid for and the price is pretty good for nyc but I think just pay more for the luxury

We picked the property because of the location and the ratings. But it turned out to be quite underwhelming. The staff was not helpful and basically objected to every request. When asked if ok to use tap water for drinking, the staff seemed confused and mentioned that tap water is not suitable for consumption, without pointing out to any alternative for drinking water. The water jug in the lobby was empty and said it would be refilled in the morning. Also, the rooms were very small vs. how they looked in the photos. The bedsheets and pillow covers had stains on them. Do not recommend this property to anyone. CitizenM pods are probably a better option in this case and also at a lower price point.
