"We stayed 6-25 to 6-29 don’t let the reviews scare you like it did me. I read reviews after we booked and was terrified . We arrived and it was nothing like I had read in the reviews . The staff cannot be more polite! Every single one of them. Me and my mom were simply walking from the car one night and one of the staff members asked if we needed help carrying anything . We always got clean towels . The elevator was in perfect working condition everytime we went to use it . There were numerous luggage carts at the doors each time we walked by. It was quiet at night , we felt safe, beds were great . Cold AC Literally cannot beat the view and access to the beach! You are pretty much on the sand! The outside hallways could def use some attention such as paint . I read a lot of reviews about roaches and mold, never once did we see a single bug and saw no mold. A lot of reviews mentioned parking issues, we never had an issue . If the main lot was full we simply parked in overflow. My mom is handicapped and got a handicap parking spot. We had hot showers each time . The only complaint I have is that there was no iron or ironing board and we needed to iron clothes for family pics. Also there is no free ice machine for guests and the ice was expensive. Def not big issues . I would stay here again"

"The room itself was very clean, with excellent amenities, a comfortable bed, and a beautifully maintained bathroom. The entire space had a pleasant, fresh scent that made it feel welcoming. However, the carpet could have used a deeper cleaning, and we unfortunately spotted a cockroach in the elevator, which was disappointing. The staff were helpful overall. I had requested a 5th-floor room, but upon arrival, I discovered the view was almost completely blocked (inland-facing with obstructions). It would be helpful if the hotel clearly informed guests in advance that rooms on the 5th floor have limited or no views. I ended up switching rooms to get the view that i paid for. The breakfast was genuinely one of the highlights — there was a great variety of options including sausage links, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, and many more. The only downside was that the menu stayed exactly the same both days of our two-night stay. Rotating the breakfast offerings daily would make it even better. While our room didn’t have a direct beach view, the lobby offered one of the best vantage points for enjoying the ocean scenery. One small tip for future guests: seating is limited during breakfast, so it’s worth securing a table before filling your plate. Overall, this is a strong hotel with excellent facilities and comfort. With a few small improvements in communication and maintenance, it would easily be a top-tier choice. "

"We stayed here more than once and each time was great. However I will be honest about a few things . Housekeeping please check behind the beds, there was sand and trash behind both beds other than that the room was clean. The staff was awesome, really nice however there was a lady who was walking around in the evening time (Black older lady ) she made me and my spouse feel so uncomfortable as she asked us to see our wrist bands while we’re inside of the pool with our children having a good time . As she walks away we noticed she didn’t ask anyone else, there were adults next to us she didn’t ask them or people standing around, it’s like she singled us out because we were black. She didn’t greet us , just aggressively asked to see our wrist bands now maybe a smile on your face or a hello how are you all today sorry to interrupt your fun may I see your wrist band for security purposes would have been more professional! The rest of the staff we encountered were always polite. Kitchen staff was awesome, we left nice tips because you can’t beat a nice breakfasts to get you started! The amenities were nice , the mermaids the activities by the pool. We also love to see how Days Inn went above and beyond to keep the outside clean as well."
