Be cautious about staying here!!! The staff is not very friendly at all. I called before making reservations to make sure there were private balconies because this is one of the most important things. My son has Asperger‘s. He doesn’t like being around many people but he loves sitting and just watching the ocean. We get there there are not private balconies at the hotel. Hotel guest can only use 1 of the 2 pools and the breakfast is not free, not even coffee. Ice isn’t even free here! My mom had a bad fall there and the staff wouldn’t even call for an ambulance or give me the address they said use my cell. Be careful! I couldn’t even walk out after dark without people whistling and yelling at me. Went out for a charger after dark and never felt so unsafe. Parking lot is dark and you have to walk down a dark street if you’re not in a parking spot by noon!!! Never again! And of course a manager was never available! If you’re on the 1st floor you can’t see the ocean because of the sand dunes, 2nd floor palm trees block your view! The Rusty Anchor was never open. The pool was decent but trash left everywhere from the day before. No housekeeping. However we did see the housecleaning crew on the floors cleaning check out rooms and they were nice!! They were the only ones. Front desks act like your a burden to even check in. Oh and check in can be anywhere from 4pm till midnight! Front desk always says the manager is out.

Positives- close to the beach(short boardwalk), 2 restaurant's on site(decent food), rooms clean. Negatives- most rooms dont have private balcony, tv is smaller than most kids room tvs, no comp breakfast and whats offered onsite is expensive, no ice machine, small compact refers, pools are small when children are present, bathtub didnt drain properly and shower head was inadequate.

This was a hotel in which you did not really have to leave the property..had restaurants, bar and grill, food court type area, arcade for the kids, pools and extremely close tot he beach…one of the nicest places I have ever stayed

The staff was friendly, only at certain times you had decent hot water, late at night kid's/teens running around very loud. Someone was banging on a room next door yelling they was the police. But like I said, the staff was nice, housekeeping came everyday asking if we needed towels and stuff.

The pictures on this app are so deceiving. Nothing was as pictured. They had to move us rooms because the entire room smelled of weed even after they sprayed. Far from clean as well. Not to mention fun shots going off and cops and ambulances all hours of the night.

Great view of the beach. The first few days were nice. We managed to catch someone from housekeeping to exchange clean towels and get essentials from them such as more coffee cups and toilet paper. Also the refrigerator barely kept anything cold. After that we never saw anyone from housekeeping. We couldn't get clean towels, or new paper coffee cups, or toilet paper. We called and noone came with clean towels so we had to go to the lobby to get clean towels. They never cleaned the room during our entire stay. There was people running up and down the walkway outside our rooms until 2:30am. We called them early in the night , to ask to them to send someone to stop this so we could get some sleep. It was still going on at 2:30am. After no sleep and no clean towels, no coffee cups and no toilet paper the following morning we checked out early from our trip. This trip was for a friend who hasn't had a vaction in many ,many years. Expedia was great as they did refund for the days that we were planning to stay but we left after not getting any service nor sleep.

Great location . Awesome property to vacation at, only downfall is the front desk staff. Staff at the front desk are all absolutely horrible. Rude ,ignorant and just simply dont care.

Close to a inch of clearance on entry door at bottom, anything could crawl right in, very noisy well after 10p curfew, walls were paper thin, cursing and rowdiness at pool so we had to avoid, room was clean, If you want a very old hotel where the prices were reasonable and dont mind dogs everywhere you may like this place but we will not return.

Loved having the private beach. 6 ppl in our group. Had 2 double beds and bunk beds. Room had Gulf and beach view. 2 pools available with chairs and lounge chairs. We changed our own bedding and towels. Bedding every other day and towels every day. I highly recommend this property for a perfect vacation! We will be returning!
