The Palmetto did not have my correct room. Which was a king bed for 5 days. The room that we received smelled like smoke. There was cigarettes under the bed skirt. It was 2 queen beds This was supposed to be a non smoking room. The staff said multiple times that they would fix the problem. They said they would call me when they had my room each day I went in to speak to them at the front desk The evening clerk talked down to me in front of other guests. I held my tongue. I called on the third day of our stay before 3:20 I was put on hold for 20 minutes then, they hung up on me. I spoke with the night auditor upon check out and let her know what happened. What a way to spend my anniversary!

The room that we booked back in November was supposedly over booked… which was a king for 5 days. They put us in a 2 queen beds and was supposed to rectify the situation and never did I tried multiple times at the front desk. They blew me off and said they were gonna upgrade me which they did did not and then when I tried to call the front desk, they put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me. The room smelled like smoke. There were cigarette butts underneath the bed. All of our stuff smelled like smoke, but by the time we left there and it’s a non-smoking room.. the coffee maker was broke. They obviously didn’t vacuum the room because they were sick of butts underneath the bed edge. The manager was supposed to call me never did. what a great way to spend my anniversary hotel. Steve ignored me and lied to me..

I was really snowballed when booking. I will say the room appeared pretty clean but I truly didn’t feel safe. I was traveling solo with my two kids and had we not traveled from Europe and my kids been exhausted I would have moved hotels. I walk up to the building across the street (non beachfront which I knew and it didn’t matter) and there are all kinds of people hanging outside their rooms and people getting dropped off. I pulled the dining table to block the door and sucked it up for one night. Again had we not traveled from Europe and my kids weren’t asleep in the lobby I would have packed them up and left!

Had to fill out a lot of same information I filled out to make the reservation. Then asked if they needed to scan my credit card and was told it was already on file (all my other information should have been on file as well). Very limited parking at oceanfront hotel. Most of the parking was across the street at the non-oceanfront hotel. Got to the room and no toilet paper and all the bodywash, shampoo, conditioner bottles in the shower were empty. Had to request all of these items. Charge a $14.99 per day resort fee, but there was no open restaurant or anything I would consider making the hotel a resort. Just another charge to get more money. Place was good for the overall price and would consider going back again if the price was right again. Nothing real fancy, just would say average and good enough.

We had a double queen room w/kitchenette. Had most of the things needed to cook. Older hotel I think but very well maintained. Good quantity for the price. Has kiddie pool, Regular pool, and VERY hot hot tub. Places to 'hang out' in the evenings to just sit and watch the waves. Loved our stay and will return. Highly recommend!

Everything was good, except we were there for 4 nights and received 0 housekeeping even after requesting services repeatedly. Front desk never had any towels for the rooms or pool. Location and view were great, facility was overall clean and upkept.

The exterior needs some love.. need to have more staff around. There wasn’t any guidance of where to get pool towels and what the hotel had free to use or they offered for free to guests.. the front desk staff needs some guidance when someone has a request don’t say yes that can happen and then it doesn’t..
