"At first my daughter and I were ready to leave regardless of what the penalties were going to be. The room is a bit dated, smelled funny, felt muggy, and the blinds had to be forced down, BUT, we decided to stay a night and if we still felt that way the next day, we would find somewhere else to go. We went to the beach which was just across some stairs, a super quick walk, and it was beautiful. There are chairs and umbrellas for rent and food/bar nearby. The bed was very comfortable and had good pillows. The TV does not have APPS on them like Netflix or anything and when we tried to set it up to be able to cast, it locked us out and maintenance had to come reset it. Oops. But because of the beach and comfortability of the bed, we did end up staying another night. It did seem to be the best bang for your buck on a tight budget and still be ON the beach. Overall, will stay again."

"Good points: Location (even with the road work), breakfast buffet and staff (Awesome group of breakfast staff), and upper deck staff great. Beach was not overcrowded and we could see further down it was. Poor points: Front desk staff. When I checked in I felt rushed even though there was no one else checking in. After traveling a period of time no one is going to remember everything but rushed like that made it 10x worse. Next day try to get more info at front desk, different person, and it was a rude experience. So needless to say the $25 day destination fee that you are supposed to be able get back I wasn't sure where all I could go to have things charged to the room to get that money back. I didn't want to be charge something instead of credit so 90% of that money I did not get back."
