We were upgraded to a suite which was perfect. First room broken fridge and nowhere to dry clothes. The bar was dreadful as it had a glitter ball in it and the revolving lights gave me motion sickness so couldn't use it. The bar was so small for the size of the hotel. If you have no car you have to rely on ubers as nowhere really walkable.

The view was great. One room the balcony door would not open. One of our rooms the air didn't work well and the door lock didn't catch well. The people screaming and yelling in the hall and pool just walked in our room about midnight.

We got a room with a view of the gulf and a balcony. We loved our stay. Rooms are a little dated and could use a pick-me-up, but we didn't mind. We watched dolphins play in the gulf, enjoyed the sunset, and had drinks and morning coffee from the comfort of our private balcony. It had a fridge and microwave, and the beds were clean and comfortable. Desk service was okay. They could have used some more help because the line checking in was pretty long. They have a little grill right outside which had great drinks and awesome food right on the beach. They also have a little coffee shop downstairs, which was great for breakfast. The view was breathtaking; the location is awesome. We will definitely be coming back.

This was the absolute worst stay we have ever had in Ft Walton Beach. We were told that we had to pay $100 deposit plus parking. No where could you find that on either website. Our first room had blood on the sheets and a large bug that ran out when I pulled the covers back. I called the front desk, and the housekeeper came to the room 30 minutes later. She looks at me and then looks at the big and squishes it in the sheet and wipes it in the floor. We asked to be moved to another room, which we were, and it was better cleanliness wise. Unfortunately, prior to arriving, we added an extra night. They made us check out, pay another $ 100 deposit, and get new cards. Everyone we talked to while down there complained about this property. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Wear your long John’s and winter clothes.

When we checked in the room was freezing, so we turned the air down. By morning everything in the room was wet. There was literally standing water on the floor. We could have moved but we wanted to be by our friends. So we got blankets and froze all weekend. I guess that is your choice in”C” building. The room also had an obstructed view. Stay 3rd floor or higher. It was close to the ocean and the staff was super friendly. I would never stay there again. The hotel needed major updates.

Beach was easily accessible but lots of seaweed. Charged $10 per night for parking which I didn’t know until time for my deposit to be returned. Only received $30 back from $100. I feel this is very shady and I will not return to Wyndham Garden in Fort Walton.
