"Great hotel in a great location"
Wonderful doormen who are very helpful. Mohendra Halall checked is in, he's such a nice man, our room was very large, spotless and had a fantastic view from the 41st floor. The in room Nespresso was very nice. The hotel location is a big plus, just steps away from shopping and restaurants.

"Paramount Times Square Hotel"
Our experience with the Paramount Times Square Hotel was mixed, falling on two different ends of the spectrum. Hotel Staff were amazing, starting off great while getting checked in (and early!) for our room. The first Concierge we spoke too was great, extremely friendly and gave us some great ideas for lunch in the area. The second was impatient and short with us with some simpler questions. Our room was nice, clean and modern. Much smaller than I was expecting, but it worked. The layout though was interesting, with our bed right next to the door, and also the bathroom. So if the door to get out was open, you couldn't get into the bathroom. The view from our 17th level room wasn't anything special, considering it is a block from Times Square, you would have never known when looking around at rooftops of surrounding hotels. The bathroom was also nice and updated, but the door to our bathroom was broken, the top hinge was detached and made closing the door difficult and loud to do. With it being so close to Times Square, it made being a tourist easy and fun. Lots of things to see and do in the area. Subway access is also very easy if you wanted to explore Manhattan.

"Excellent hotel and service"
Most certainly the best hotel I have stayed in, in New York. It is new and the decor is great. As it is only 1 block from Central Park, the location is excellent as it is away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. High recommend it.

"Great review"
We arrived and got the keys tot he room. When we entered the room we found only i bed. We needed two. I asked the manager on duty that we needed two and he asked "if someone had stolen one of the beds?" We accompanied him back to the room to find we didn't close the door and notice the Other full service room. More than we expected, two separate full rooms. Completely unexpected but welcomed. They provided more than we thought. The location is great as well. Good walking distance from everything.

"Expected the best, received it."
Although we did not spend a lot of time on the property for our one night stay, we were very impressed with this hotel which was our first ever overnight stay in Manhattan in a hotel. Presumably due to low volume, we were upgraded to a junior suite after booking a normal room which was a nice gesture. With no comparisons to other NYC hotels, this one was comparable to other top end places that we have visited in the past. The bed & shower were one of the best we have experienced, the mini-bar was well stocked, and the complimentary bottled water and chocolates (unlike the $10 Fiji bottles other places lay out) was a nice touch as well. The room service breakfast we ordered was a little pricey, but good nonetheless considering the level of service and quality of the food. Unlike similarly priced resort hotels outside of NYC, the lobby was fairly understated and more like you were in a private setting, which I guess is understandable considering the target clientele and the fact this is a condo building as well. Also, the Columbus Circle subway station is right outside the front door and they also have drivers to take you places as well.

"good location"
It took 55 minutes to get checked in and they were overwhelmed or what , but not too friendly . Modern very noisy , my room was small but nicely done and clean. Cleverly the end of halls had enlarged photos of streets and made very narrow hallways less so. Elevators very modern I did not have time to use their exercise room , but when I arrived , they wanted to charge me 250plus as Resort fees. I protested strongly. They reduced it to 150 pus , which I found still too high. If I tell them that I will not use their exercise rooms they should not charge. It was not mentioned on the Travelocity site either. There were other fees besides- like airplanes now: they charge for breathing soon.

We went to for parade. It was a great location for that. The hotel needed a little TLC, nothing was broke or extremely dirty but everything could have used a great cleaning. Family went with us and it looked as if there floor had been refurbished.

    Out and About in Manhattan

Considered the cultural and economic core of the Big Apple, Manhattan clusters thousands of attractions. Begin your adventure by ogling at the ultra-thin Flatiron Building, and get snap-happy from the observation deck on the 108th floor of the Empire State building. Afterwards, come back down to earth with a stroll around the 843-acre urban oasis that is Central Park, making sure to marvel at the whimsical Belvedere Castle and Jose de Creeft's bronze "Alice in Wonderland" sculpture. As day turns to dusk, detour to Times Square and be dazzled by the flashing billboards and electric atmosphere. Why not save yourself the arm-ache of hailing yellow cabs and hire a car to zip around the city? Travelocity offer the lowest prices on car rentals in Manhattan.

    Cocktails and Hot Dogs

There's never a shortage of fancy "Sex in the City"-style cocktail lounges, but some of the most-coveted bars are tucked away inside of five-star hotels in Manhattan. Restaurants here set the bar high, often offering arty, forward-thinking creations including gastropub grub and unusual fusion fare. Cheap hotels in Manhattan are hard to come by, so you can cut costs on your trip by refueling at one of the food trucks on Madison Avenue, or by devouring a mustard-and-fried-onion-topped hot dog.

Does Manhattan's magic have you spellbound? Use Travelocity to bundle hotels in New York City with your flights and you could save up to $537. Browse our vacation packages today and you could book your trip faster than a New York minute.
