"Great staff elegant and clean hotel"
Very peaceful stay with a great nights sleep Very grateful they let me check in early as I had not slept for 24 hours and then I slept very well in a great bed in an airconditioned bedroom which was also great because it was 90 plus degrees outside.linens and towels carpet etc, clean too.

The hotel was great. We arrived early and our room was ready. The staff was courteous and answered all our questions. We will definitely use this hotel again.

"Very Nice Hotel"
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, near Times Square and Theater District. Hotel is fairly new, very clean and well kept. Room was small but layed out so very well that the size was not a problem. Parking is expensive but convenient under the hotel. Did not like lack of a separate commode area with a door, only a glass door separated from rest of bathroom and room area. No ice container in room and non working ice machine on the floor were a minor inconvenience. Found working machine on next floor. Blinking small red lights on security system in room weird and mildly disturbing to sleep. Overall thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would book again in the future.

"Perfect NYC hotel"
The Chelsea Savoy was perfect for our 7 night stay in New York. The location is amazing--very close to the subway and many local shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and flexible. The rooms were updated and very spacious by NY standards. The lobby and breakfast areas were very nice. The free breakfast of coffee and muffins was wonderful. But I can't say enough about the location. We felt like locals since we weren't in Times Square (there were many apartments, local shops, corner sandwich places and not a TON of tourists like Times Square), but all NYC main attractions were within walking distance or an easy subway ride. We will definitely stay here again for future visits to the city.

"In the heart of New York"
When in New York, who stays in their room? We didn't, and found the Seton's location to be ideal. We weren't that far from Laguardia, and just blocks away from Grand Central (and Campbell's Apartment). Plenty of nearby coffee shops and restaurants and bars -- catch a cab at the nearest corner to explore other parts of town. Free coffee in the morning, and the courtyard is ideal for catching up on email or looking through the day's photos. The framed poster of THE CATCHER IN THE RYE is a reminder of the Wicker Bar mentioned in Salinger's book that, according to one staff member, never existed. But no matter. This old hotel has the feel of Salinger's New York. When you turn your key -- a real KEY -- in at the front desk when you leave, and then ask for it again when you arrive, you can't help but feel that you've stepped back to a time captured and glamorized by so many, many movies.

Paramount Times Square

"Paramount Times Square Hotel"
Our experience with the Paramount Times Square Hotel was mixed, falling on two different ends of the spectrum. Hotel Staff were amazing, starting off great while getting checked in (and early!) for our room. The first Concierge we spoke too was great, extremely friendly and gave us some great ideas for lunch in the area. The second was impatient and short with us with some simpler questions. Our room was nice, clean and modern. Much smaller than I was expecting, but it worked. The layout though was interesting, with our bed right next to the door, and also the bathroom. So if the door to get out was open, you couldn't get into the bathroom. The view from our 17th level room wasn't anything special, considering it is a block from Times Square, you would have never known when looking around at rooftops of surrounding hotels. The bathroom was also nice and updated, but the door to our bathroom was broken, the top hinge was detached and made closing the door difficult and loud to do. With it being so close to Times Square, it made being a tourist easy and fun. Lots of things to see and do in the area. Subway access is also very easy if you wanted to explore Manhattan.

"Great location and staff"
You can't beat the location of this hotel if you want to be in the heart of Manhattan. It's close to Times Square, Central Park and many other attractions. The hotel is being renovated and I recommend reserving a renovated room or a room on the Executive floors (18+). We had an unrenovated room at first and it was a bit run down. We requested a renovated room but none were available. We were able to upgrade to a room on the Executive floor and it was very nice. We would definitely stay here again but only in a renovated or Executive room. The staff was very nice.

    Manhattan Hotel & Travel Guide

Glittering architectural masterpieces, Broadway spectaculars, and a maze of museums are just some of the things you'll discover in Manhattan. From Tribeca to SoHo to Koreatown, each Manhattan neighborhood offers a unique flavor. Book a stay in one of the Manhattan hotels and you'll have the perfect base from which to explore New York City and the state of New York.

    Out and About in Manhattan

Considered the cultural and economic core of the Big Apple, Manhattan clusters thousands of attractions. Begin your adventure by ogling at the ultra-thin Flatiron Building, and get snap-happy from the observation deck on the 108th floor of the Empire State building. Afterwards, come back down to earth with a stroll around the 843-acre urban oasis that is Central Park, making sure to marvel at the whimsical Belvedere Castle and Jose de Creeft's bronze "Alice in Wonderland" sculpture. As day turns to dusk, detour to Times Square and be dazzled by the flashing billboards and electric atmosphere. Why not save yourself the arm-ache of hailing yellow cabs and hire a car to zip around the city? Travelocity offer the lowest prices on car rentals in Manhattan.

    Cocktails and Hot Dogs

There's never a shortage of fancy "Sex in the City"-style cocktail lounges, but some of the most-coveted bars are tucked away inside of five-star hotels in Manhattan. Restaurants here set the bar high, often offering arty, forward-thinking creations including gastropub grub and unusual fusion fare. Cheap hotels in Manhattan are hard to come by, so you can cut costs on your trip by refueling at one of the food trucks on Madison Avenue, or by devouring a mustard-and-fried-onion-topped hot dog.

Does Manhattan's magic have you spellbound? Use Travelocity to bundle hotels in New York City with your flights and you could save up to $537. Browse our vacation packages today and you could book your trip faster than a New York minute.
