"It was good for us as we were only in the room to sleep. The king only room is quite small. The toilet could be updated with the taller height and quiet lid. The staff at the desk was not the most welcoming or helpful with questions. Great location and loved the grab and go breakfast."

"For the most part, our stay was great! Clean room, comfortable bed, outstanding shower. Friendly staff. Conveniently located in Times Square. But some things to keep in mind: -we purchased “guaranteed early check in” at 10:00am for $130, which was necessary for us because we had a flight that arrived in the morning. However, at 10:00 our “guaranteed” room was unavailable. It took another hour or so until we finally got in, but that meant inconveniently rearranging some important meetings. To Westin’s credit, they reimbursed the fee. And our room was FANTASTIC— large corner room with views of the city on two sides. So it turned out to be only a minor glitch in the trip. -the description of the room on the Westin website indicated an in-room mini fridge. There was none. A rather large empty cabinet suggested there probably WAS a fridge at some point. Traveling with a young child requires that we have refrigerated food on hand for her. So this created a challenge that we met only by continual trips to the ice machine. -the fitness center was a disappointment. It was quite small for such a large hotel, which meant some crowding. -(I’m guessing this following comment is not unique to Westin): the prices of food items in the gift shop and onsite restaurant were prohibitive. We ended up using door dash and grub hub. One morning we tried ordering in room breakfast, which was not traditional room service, as we’d assumed. Instead it was a bag of a few soggy food items."

"The location is unbeatable—it’s just half a block from Times Square. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The air conditioning in the first room we were given didn’t work, but they moved us to another room where it worked perfectly. The hotel isn’t modern; it’s old-fashioned, but it’s very clean and has everything you need to sleep comfortably and without any problems."
