I liked the staff. We asked for the room to be cleaned one day and it never got cleaned. They only left clean bath towels but no hand towels nor wash clothes. We had to continually ask for different essentials and at one point I had to go to the cart to get the towels, toilet paper and tissue. It seemed there was not enough staff to take care of all the rooms.

The hotel needs to be closed. It’s being managed poorly and only one out of the three elevators were publicly available. The wait time was about 10 minutes to get one. The rooms are tolerable but the ac is not regulating properly. No TV remote was in the room and the outer door slammed each time you leave the room.

Unknown to us at booking, the hotel was under extreme renovations (which were needed) and it was impossible to get an elevator. Our room was musty and extremely damp. The humidity in the room was 70%. The AC did not work properly and it was difficulty maintaining a comfortable temperature. We were approached by Dale who was very nice. He offered a discount for the inconveniences. The other employee who did a great job was Sean and I personally thanked him for listening and his understanding. The hotel does not have a place to relax outside like a courtyard so it made the stay unbearable. I won’t stay again or recommend a stay at this hotel.

Location was perfect! Walking distance to Times Square and Broadway. The hotel is tired and needs some updating. But the rooms were quiet and the AC worked well. The bathroom was very clean and shower was good; Towels were crunchy. We had a good stay overall. No problems with the elevators.

Elevator service was terrible throughout my stay. Usually 20 minute waits and we were on the 14th floor. On two occassions we gave up waiting and walked down! Poorly placed air conditioning in rooms directly blowing on bed.

Overall in New York in this location it was an ok hotel. The elevators and certain part of the hotel were run down. The staff did do their job but they had music playing, were singing to it while trying to check in—although they were nice, it didn’t seem professional. The outside and lobby were very clean and well kept and the room itself was nice. Small but what you would expect in New York. Good for a short stay but nothing crazy.

We always stay at this Hilton when in New York. However, our door had the be forced open after scanning the room key. THE aC was turned off with a very dirty filter. I had to open the panel and turn it back on and remove the filter (i own a large HVAC company, so i knew how) Our last nigt, we came back to the room and the door was open. They didnt clean till after 4PM, threw away our food we had out, and left the door open by not pulling it all the way closed. We could have had someone steal all our belongings. This was a very bad experience for us at this Hotel, this time.

The staff was great and the hotel was nice. The elevator situation is the only thing that needs to be improved. Rule of thumb is to get in the elevator no matter which direction it is headed and just take the ride because you don’t know when it’ll be back to your floor again. If we were on a lower floor we would have taken the stairs but we were on 30, so we waited. I will say that the elevator issue wouldn’t deter me from staying here again.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Only 1 out of 3 elevators was working and didn’t even always work. We had to climb 25 flights of stairs multiple times after waiting more than 20 minutes. The front desk lied about it being fixed because in the 5 days we were there, there was never a single repair person there. This was so inconvenient and added 20-30 minutes of wait time every time we wanted to come or go. As well, the gym was also out of order and they gave us gym passes for crunch fitness but they wouldn’t let our teenagers in. When we asked the front desk to recommend a good bakery near the hotel, her response was ‘I don’t know any places around here’. We will never ever stay here again. Terrible hotel.

I am glad I have only stayed for one night after a whole week in a different hotel. The elevators in this property are old, slow and it seems that one out of the three is not working. You can be waiting 15 to 20 minutes for a ride in peak time. Request a low floor and avoid the elevator.

The location was absolutely perfect! Very convenient and just far enough away from the tourists but close enough to theaters and places of interest. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which was great because with the grocery store around the corner it made it easy to save some money. The room was clean and the housekeepers came every day to clean. The only thing is to make sure to pack some patience when it comes to the elevators. I never waited more than 5 minutes for an elevator but still it would take a hot minute for them to arrive. I ended up staying here for 5 nights and most of the time at least 1-2 elevators were down. You would think with all of those complaints they would make upgrading the elevators a priority. That would be my only negative though. All staff were super kind and helpful. They offered umbrellas when it was raining and were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
