Common areas were dirty (carpet); elevators were barely functional. At one point we had to climb down 15 flights of stairs in order to be able to leave the hotel at all. The lobby is constantly flooded with people checking in/out, but tney only have one functional restroom in the lobby. For the price, amenities were extremely basic.

This place seems to have overbooking issues. I booked a certain room for a birthday trip in the city and had to wait over an hour for the room I booked to be ready just for the staff to inform me that the room will not be available and ended up checking me into a regular room. Also, as I was waiting I noticed they were telling other guests who were checking in that their room would not be available at check in time. Wasn’t much of a price different for the regular room. The staff didn’t seem to care much about the mix up either. Very disappointing, will never be back.

The hotels location was great to get to multiple subway routes and was a good middle between Central Park and Times Square, both walkable. Staff was nice and the cleaning service was good. The downsides were the elevators were so slow and small, specifically because one of the three elevators were broken. Also the AC was awful; it was very humid in the rooms (maybe because there is no bathroom fan) and it was difficult to sleep at night since the room was so hot.

Staff is unbelievable! They are so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and a fair size. Only complaint is with the elevators. We had to go use the stairs a few times because the elevators were so very slow (one time we were literally waiting over 10 minutes so we decided to take the stairs, down of course).

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. I would have liked firmer pillows. One of the elevators wasn't working, which was causing a lot of back-ups with people trying to get on and down to the first floor. I was told at check out that the elevator was to be fixed on Monday, October 6, 2025.

This hotel was comfortable and conveniently located for the places we planned to visit. The staff were responsive and knowledgeable. However, the elevators were very inadequate for the size of the hotel and number of rooms/guests. There were three elevators, but one was out of service during our visit. The two working elevators were often held up at certain floors. So guests were left waiting for long stretches. One afternoon I waited for over 20 minutes in a crowd of guests who had just checked in. My husband went off to have a drink at the bar next door, and was shocked when he returned to find me still waiting for the elevator. Totally unacceptable.
