The place is nice its nothing fancy but good enough no need to order city view room as they just see yhr building near..try to avoid using the elvator between 9-12 and 3-6 when everyone goes out otherwise you just wont get out. You cant beat the location everything is a walk or metro away

This hotel is in a good location and rooms are decent size. However, in the first room we were assigned the air conditioning did not work (it was over 80 degrees in the room). We called the front desk who sent an engineer. We went out for food and on our return it had not been fixed. Went to the front desk who said it would be fixed the next day and offered us two other rooms (not connected as we had booked) or the use of fans. We opted for fans as could not be far apart from our children in the second room. Returned to our room to find the key cards wouldn’t work, returned to reception twice for new keys but none worked. Had to wait for an engineer to come and fix it. After a terrible sleep with the loud fans, we went out for the day with the promise that the air conditioning would be fixed when we got back. It wasn’t! We then were offered two adjacent rooms on the 26th floor which we accepted. These rooms were nice so we were happy until … my partner and I noticed we had bites on our bodies. We went to a local pharmacy who said we had bed bug bites!! Felt sick. Went to front desk to inform them that our original room had a bed bug problem. They were not interested at all, in fact the girl on reception with the blonde hair and glasses asked me what my question was! My question is why has a room in a Hilton hotel got a bed bug infestation? On our return we have written two emails to the manager to complain and they have not replied. Poor show.

The midtown location makes it convenient to walk to sights, restaurants, etc but that is pretty much the best part about the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is quite run down and two of the three elevators didn't work when we arrived, so people had to wait 10+ minutes. The hotel had one elevator fixed but the last one was broken throughout our stay. The rooms are small and adequate, but pretty bare bones.

From the minute we got there it was bad. It was around 10pm and they don’t even have a way to get a drink of water. What i was told is that there’s no water container because customers drip and they don’t want to clean it up. Mind you that there were at least 5 people standing around at a time. Finally get to our room to not have the air conditioning working and a barn door to the bathroom. The bedding was like sand paper to the point my daughter woke up with rashes all over her legs. They didn’t have a do not disturb door hanger so the cleaning people just walked into our room twice with us sleeping. We asked several times to not clean but they just kept coming back anyway. The elevators are a whole issue of its own. There was construction going on so the restaurant was closed and you had to cross the street to use some other gym facility. None of this was on the website. I was told the morning after our first night there would be compensation in which I’m still waiting on.
