Kinda gross. Floors we're not cleaned and I would not recommend walking around without shoes or socks in your room...it's just gross. The photos make it look nice, but think twice.

The entire staff is wonderful, welcoming, professional and supportive - Maggie with customer service, Samantha reception, Jose valet, and housekeeping. The location is fantastic! The room is basic but quiet, safe, and clean. Rooftop restaurant is great! I look forward to my return!

I’ve been staying at this hotel for almost 40 years. It’s never been fancy, but it used to be comfortable. Not any more!! - Our AC didn’t work and our room was about 83 degrees over our 3 day stay. We had to sleep with open windows and no screens. The air quality was terrible due to a fire in NJ. They refused to switch us to another room. Always an excuse. The AC never was never fixed in the entire three days!!! It was very uncomfortable! We tried to avoid being in the room. Also: No one ever answers the phone at the front desk…ever!! G-d forbid someone has an emergency!! We paid extra for a “deluxe” room, and this was the situation. Little annoyances included: no tv remote, it didn’t work and it took over a day for them to find a compatible one! Also, no hairdryer, no robe or slippers, no laundry bag,no coat hangers in closet, no in room coffee maker. - On the bright side, The maid service was good and the room was clean. - Barring a change in ownership/management, I would not choose this hotel again.

If you like cold showers, stained, worn, torn, furniture in your room, a key card that fails to work a minimum of twice a day, no coffee machine nor ice, ONLY paper cups delivered to your room, a desk that's falling apart, a bed that's hard as a rock and a pull-out sofa in a junior suite with no bedding, an iron that's broken and finally ZERO literally no place to hang nor store clothes or drawers anywhere. Well, this place will be perfect for you! Booked Mon-Fri {4 nights} for ONLY $2k! Joke... Never going back!

The hotel was nice. It's an older facility but they keep it up. The room and bathroom were small. The front desk and all of the staff were amazing! Very friendly, kind and courteous! Helping in hailing cabs--I was on crutches, so this was much appreciated.

Great location; Great deal.

This was my third stay. The location is great, cost very economical, and clean. Staff is friendly, and coffee shop right next door. Great find and I’ll continue to stay here for my weekend getaways.

It had a nice view from my room, and the roof. Staff were helpful, courteous, and professional. Door men were excellent in knowledge of the hotel, and city. ...What I didn't like was the shower was cumbersome to use, and took a long time to heat up, The sink was clogged, but was quickly fixed when reported. The sheets on the bed were confusing. The first night the bottom sheet was put on top of the top sheet, and comforter. Another night, the bottom sheet (I think, one side was fitted and the other not) was on top of the top sheet. A plug-in receptacle appeared to not be fully installed. Stubbed our toes on the bed-frame several times. A new smaller one would be a big improvement. The rug should be replaced, it had one or two tears in it. The room was also dark, with a black rug, and a grayish wallpaper. On one of the 7 days we stayed there I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. We still enjoyed our stay.
