Fleas in Room and Springtail Bugs In The Upgraded room. I checked into the Night hotel. Upon check in I was give the key to my room. I noticed some debris on the sheets of the bed but thought nothing of it. A few hours later I kept feeling like something was on my body. When I scratched my head there was a taupe color debris. After that showered this kept happening, I kept feeling things on me. At that point I checked the bed and sheets throughly and found evidence of flea eggs. I took some pictures attached. Once I found these I went to the front desk, informed the agent, and was given a new room. In the upgraded room in the “Pent house” floor I also experienced more discomfort. On the 2nd night I noticed that small thin black bugs were coming out of the sheet. I had my room serviced and I don’t even think they changed the sheets. Even worse they were coming out of the mattress. At first they looked like black dust but would eventually come out slowly from the threads. This was highly inconvenient and caused unnecessary stress. I won’t be staying here again. Also the rugs are really dirty. Wore my flip flops but still felt dirty being in the space. It’s hard to see the bugs in the pictures because they were tiny but they were everywhere.

The workers were lovely it’s just a very old property and needs some love. The bathroom was the worst part for us. The shower rod was falling out of the wall and the curtain wouldn’t stay up, there were pieces of the wall in the shower when we first got there, and lots of rust and dirt in the floor. The water temperature was also hard to control and inconsistent.

Amazing stay better then expected definitely a hidden GEM... im not gonna gate keep but its definitely worth giving a shot and convenient to travel by metro at least it was for me...

Slightly dated, but charming. Room was clean, with the exception of some dust and residue on the ceiling and around the light fixtures. No issues with noise from other guests or even the street outside. Neighborhood is very quiet, even in its most active hours. Super convenient location in the Upper West Side, with everything you’d need, including the subway station across the street. Bed was comfortable, although the pillow could probably be updated. There are no other amnesties, other than a coffee maker (which is the most important anyways), TV, Iron, those types of things. Staff both front desk and cleaning were very helpful. Will definitely stay again.
