"Great location, very comfortable"
Excellent in every way. Our room was on the 8th floor at the rear and we heard no noise from other rooms at any time. Beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well in our own double bed. Bathroom was well equipped with plenty of clean and large towels, good water pressure and hair dryer. Would have liked shower cap to be provided as standard but reception was happy to send up a couple when I asked. Easy, quick check-in and out. Friendly staff. Breakfast facilities surpassed our expectations with good variety but would have liked larger cereal bowls. Just a couple of downs - wifi connection was more or less non existent in our room and I had to use my tablet in the lobby or at breakfast. The net curtains in our room appeared to be thick with grime but this did not reflect the general cleanliness of the hotel. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

"Affordable, clean lodging"
The staff at this hotel were very nice and the room was clean. Like everyone has said, the rooms are super small. It worked for me, but for two people, it would be a very tight squeeze. If you have luggage, even harder. Not impossible if you get along well. There are some marks on the wall that made it look less clean than it was, but this is from people bumping their items into it because of how small the room is- lol. The location was a little iffy for a single female- not necessarily bad, but a little too isolated in the evening for midtown. It wasn't a bad walk with a rollaway suitcase to Penn Station, and a great location for Chelsea galleries, which is why I stay in midtown. The mattress was nothing special, but fine. I would stay here again.

    Madison Square Garden Hotel Guide

Do you feel the beat in New York City? Indeed, New York's largest city has a rhythm unlike any other. You'll be mesmerized by the shiny skyscrapers, wowed by the incredible artwork, moved by the historical sites, and electrified by the nightlife. The Big Apple never stops moving and grooving. By the end of your trip, you'll be figuring out ways to stay longer.

    Madison Square Garden

Hotels by Madison Square Garden abound because the facility is an iconic venue for sports, concerts, and other events. As you search for New York City flights and hotels close to Madison Square Garden, you'll find many other notable attractions in the Big Apple are just steps away. No matter what event you're coming to see, understand that the arena, which holds between 18,000 and 21,000, hosted a concert by The Doors in 1969, Ali vs. Frazier II (one of boxing's greatest bouts ever) in 1974, WWE Survivor Series in 2011, and countless other epic sporting events and concerts. This is just a small sample of the type of star power Madison Square Garden attracts. The Garden is also the home of the New York Knicks (NBA) and New York Rangers (NHL), and hosts concerts by world-famous musicians throughout the year.

Of course, you can't come to New York City and just see one thing. The Empire State Building—arguably the city's most notable building—is a mere half-mile walk away. Ascend to the top of this Art Deco building and take a look at just how mammoth NYC is. Central Park—the calm oasis within the maddening city—is just 1.5 miles away on foot, via taxi, or by subway.
