"AMAZING VACATION at Marriott KING Kona Beach Hotel"
I had the MOST AMAZING Vacation Ever, THIS Hotel was in the BEST PLACE I have ever been...It is in a cove with a BIG Fishing Dock on the BIG ISLAND with incredible views overlooking the Beach front and the dock. Everything was GREAT at this hotel from the service up front to the concierge booking us to be picked up to Fly in a Helicopter to see the waterfalls and the volcanos and red hot lava and fly down the coast and we got picked up from the submarine at the dock in front of Marriott's hotel and took the Dinner cruise to Captain Cook's monument. All the restaurants were the BEST near the hotel, EVERYBODY was so helpful and friendly, We could Feel the LOVE and HIGHLY RECCOMEND TO ANYONE ALOHA

"Great Kona resort"
We stayed for 7 nights and wished we had 7 more. Great staff, security, luaa, location and room. Easy walking to food. Easy travel to historic sites. Tours avsilable, but we chose to do our own thing. The lagoon was never crowded and the one night we used the pool, we were the only folks there. Our request for maintenance support was met in minutes. Seems that in fixing the clogged drain in the room above us, they backed up our pipes. By the time we returned, our room was clean and working well. My one complaint is the confusing parking lot. Our car was hit by a couple from Germany as they tried to get assistance to operate the gates and navigate the one way roads. Got to meet hotel security and local police, but it took hours to process. (Renting a car? Get the insurance- Hawaii is a no fault State.) Loved out Lagoon tower room where we had a partial ocean, resort view. We could watch the luaa each night from our balcony. Lots of restaurants nearby and pedestrians on the main strip. Felt safe.

"Reasonably priced (for Kona, Hawai'i) hotel just a"
Staff are friendly and courteous. However, they overbookt heri parking area which is small - charge $5 per night. If there is no parking, they want you to park at Splashers which is about four blocks away - unacceptable. Not clear what parking Splashers as that would alleviate the situation. There is a public lot about 2 blocks away out the back entrance from the property. But, that is usually full up until about 8PM or so. Rooms are clean, airy - no ocean view, however.

"Extra fees"
Paid everything through Travelocity, but they added fees and parking. Other than that it was a great experience. If I went to Hawaii again I would definately not object to staying at this hotel

"Good hotel in great location."
Hotel is small, but clean with all the basic things you need. Has large rooms with breakfast. Ofers laundry a small pool/jacuzzi and a gym. Breakfast was had good options, pool/jacuzzi were great every time we went back to the hotel to relax. The gym not so much is very small and doesn't have ventilation therefore it stinks and could it stand it so I left without working out. The hotel has extra fees, one of them is parking which I though it was pricy. Other than that it was a good stay!
