"Great Hotel"
I really enjoyed my stay! The room was clean, and the full kitchen was great for breakfast, when we didn't feel like getting dressed and going to a restaurant. The addition of having a grill available also added to the comfort, since a hamburger at a restaurant was about $13.00. We had a private balcony which we loved, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

"Did not disappoint!"
Our return to the Lani Kai after a four-month absence was such a pleasure. Despite some pretty daunting exterior updates needed, our room and its location were spot-on for a post-holiday-crush getaway and decompression.

"Great location on the water/beaxh"
I stayed at West Wind 2 years ago and promised myself I'd be back. So close to the water making it easy to shoot sunrises and sunsets - what a great location to shoot both from the same beach! Rooms are accommodating, location is quiet but accessible to all Sanibel & Captiva have to offer. Hotel offers a happy hour meet and greet at the pool - great drink selection. I'll say it again - I have to go back!

"Convenient to everything"
Is very close to beach, shopping, restaurants. Has Tiki bar, entertainment, food on site. The efficiency room we had was very small & old was built probably in the 40's had been remodeled by unskilled carpenters. Electrical outlets scarce. No dresser to put things in, only 2 nitestands w/1 drawer. Parking is very bad in the area we stayed in(noway to get out when spaces were taken except to back out all the way out). The room was clean. The 1st day they cleaned the room & put fresh towels in bath room 2nd they must have been in a hurry, still had wet wash cloths in tub & the towels were setting on bed. Also in the mornings we heard doors slamming & then realized the cleaning crew store everything under & beside our room There are newer units w/ better parking, if we every stay there again I will ask for area w/this.
