"Very clean and nice rooms. The staff had no idea on how the trolly worked, but that is minor. We could use the pool as well as the pool at the property next door which they also own. Right across the street from the beach. Very close to shopping, dining and what not. Loved it! WILL be back."

"Older hotel that had some renovations done to it. Our room was musty/moldy smelling but for the most part was clean. Pool was very dark and murky, heavy smelling chemicals. For the price and location it was an adequate stay."

"Stayed 3 nights at the Hilton Galveston and left underwhelmed. Traveling with a crawling baby, cleanliness is non-negotiable for us and the floors were clearly not properly mopped. I ended up mopping the room myself, which is not what you expect at a Hilton-priced property. The in-room phone didn’t work, so housekeeping requests had to go through a text number that went unanswered for hours. To make matters worse, housekeeping won’t clean your room or restock essentials unless you explicitly request it something we weren’t told upfront. This was my first Hilton stay and, unfortunately, likely my last. I wouldn’t recommend this property, especially for families with young children."
