we paid for a suite, that ended up being a giant room with 2 beds and a couch. the rest of the furniture was not in the room and they refused to help in any way. I wasted money on this trip to have gotten a "suite" which was $100 more a night than a regular room. When we arrived the tub was full of water along with all the towels in the room. There was complaints from everyone in the hotel, had a conversation at 2am with a woman in a panic that they gave her room to a group of men who had her room key trying to get in at 2am banging on the door. She thankfully had the latch on the door so they couldn't get in. Went to front desk and they were LAUGHING about the situation. Felt so bad for this woman. We just happened to be coming back from fishing and ran across this incident. We will never book with this hotel again.

No cups in room. Criticized by staff why I waited to report this at check out. Didn't tell staff we used our water bottles instead. Toilet handle had to be wiggled to stop the water. Had to be happening when staff last cleaned the room. Outside cover fell of room A/C unit in the evening. Evidently no one in staff makes any kind of rounds or responds to issues in plan view. Remodel paint job very poor. Cancelling second reservation for Jan 2026.

AVOID THIS MOTEL 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND

Finding an economical location in Galveston is challenging during the summer, but I promise this is not the place! The staff was not friendly, there is a fee to self park in their lot, the elevator does not work, and most importantly, the rooms are only surface clean. I had to pull the nightstand away from the wall to reach the power outlet and nearly lost my lunch dirt, mold candy wrappers, it was disgusting!

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. The pictures listed are not of this hotel. It was filthy and rundown. We stayed one night prior to a cruise but it was one night too many. I am surprised this hotel is in business with the awful service and rooms. Never again.

I reserved a suite- two rooms, one king bed in 1 room, 2 doubles in the other. When I checked in i was told there was only one and it was under maintenance. I was given a single double bed room and told I would be waved the parkong fee of $15/day. I verified prices and conplained the following morning (because it was so late at check in and the language barrier was a real problem). So the next mornong they tried to tell me we had to wait for the manager, who was on vacation and would be back 3 day later. Ive worked in hotels for years. As a front desk staff, you ha e the authority to make things right for your guests. But i had to get angry for them to digure out a solution: it took 3 hours, bit they finally chamged our room to two connecting rooms, each with 2 double beds. Better than a single for the price I was paying. The "breakfast" was pitiful. The coffee was wither too watered down or way too strong-no coffee pot in the room. And it is the beacj, sand is everywhere so you can't expect a perfectly clean floor- it was clean enough. The wifi didn't work. Our first room, the door handle was broken.

It was a last minute trip and chose this hotel because of location. Location was great for us being we wanted to walk across to beach. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. The shower soap dispenser was empty or nearly empty. Didn't make a fuse about any of this. We were just happy to secure a room last minute. Beds were comfortable, AC was cold and shower head had good pressure and water was hot. Elevator doesn't work. Very basic and dated but it was just a place to sleep so it was fine. Front desk attendants are rude at time and fine at others. It was a hit and miss with them. They also charge for parking and my reservation stated parking included from a third party. We didnt bother taking pictures. There are plenty in other reviews. There were disgruntled employee being terminated. Upset customers waiting hours for a room, computer system down etc... Checkin was fine for us but we were originally assigned a 3rd floor room but no elevator. We were assigned a first floor room once we updated them what rooms were empty. Overall my family enjoyed a last minute holiday weekend.

I booked 4 rooms for family members and at check-in the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. They could not find the reservation, made me provide evidence of reservation beyond the confirmation number, and required names of family members even though I booked all the rooms and paid for them. Additionally, once we got our rooms they were not together and one room was not cleaned at all with a pizza box still in the room and beds still looked like they had been slept in. I was also required to pay a per car parking fee despite this not being advertised anywhere in the booking. Finally, the photos provided on hotels.com are not accurate representations of the rooms at this hotel. As a Wyndham time share owner, I am concerned and surprised that Wyndham would put their name on this property. This property is unkept, unprofessional, and dirty.

The motel is a drug and drunk motel . The room was so dirty . The restroom smelt like urine so bad. The tub was clogged.The only had sheets on the beds no blankets.Then they make you pay for parking. I checked out a day early give they key to the manager owner and I got an email on Monday asking when will I be checking out. I sent email back that I checked out on Sunday .

The front desk manager was very slow, and I asked her several times about a downstairs room since I had a dog with me. She ignored my question and talked to the other manager and other guest, even though I was the one in line. Later, I asked her if I could have a late check out in the next day because I had an early morning interview. She said yes, I could check out at noon. I was in the middle of changing when I got back from the interview around 11 AM. I’m in housekeeping was trying to rush me to get out.
