Staff was nice. However the room floors stayed soaked with wet from humidity, did not have the requested rooms ready so had to take alternate rooms. And although they are pet friendly it was a charge of 75.00 dollars per pet. Which is more than the cost of the room.

Breakfast is only positive

The front counter attendant was nice and the breakfast was delicious but the rest of the hotel stay was horrible. The bedding looked and felt as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. It was dusty and itchy. The bathroom was also disgusting. I couldn’t get comfortable all night. It’s as if many of the rooms don’t used enough and don’t get cleaned on a regular basis. Appliances and small furniture is not moved when cleaning and/or vacuuming. You could see the dust lines around the objects.

No hot water in the shower or sink, no ice machine after the lobby is closed at 10pm. Room smelt musty. Every bird in Galveston is in the trees at this hotel. They are quiet after the sun comes up. Lobby is locked after 10pm. No bell to ring if you need anything. Never again

Elevators are dirty/wet from people at the pool constantly, no one sweeped the elevators in a couple of days during my stay. My room was decent my only gripe is my end tables were dirty with dry sticky soda and was not wiped down. This hotel is family friendly and is right directly in front of the beach. Take the good and bad with that! during my two day stay, I was woken up at 5:45 in the morning due to seagulls going crazy both days. I would probably stay here again due to the convenience.

I definitely will not be staying here again. The rooms need to be cleaned better. The beds were hard, but the overall room cleanliness. I just couldn't get over.Also the shower head leaked .
