The hotel was nice. I didn't know about the parking.Being an additional $25 dollars a day. The shower temperature kept going low to high. We had a great view of the city of charlotte. A lot of restaurants were close by. It was a good stay.

What we didn't like: Lacking a doorman, the valet was the first person we encountered, upon arriving at this hotel. He neither opened the door, as we struggled with luggage, nor responded when I said hi as we entered. As we had arrived without a car to park, we were no doubt invisible to him. Generally, we don't mind if hotel employees are not overly friendly. We're not there to make friends. However, the valet was complete devoid of any civility, apparently forgetting that he has a job in the hospitality industry.
