Would Stay Again.
The hotel was nice, clean and located near the arena. The staff was pleasant. My only concern was how confusing it was to get to the hotel. I drove around almost 20 minutes trying to figure out where to park to enter into the hotel.

Very Good for the Price and Location. If you don't know what Aloft is about don't stay there... If you do, then this one is Great Location for anything in DnTwn Charlotte, very walkable to dining and entertainment. Had seen some bad reviews, but I think they were mostly from people who don't get the Aloft vibe and they should have stayed somewhere more 'posh'. I personally don't like people kissing or up my ass when staying at a hotel, I like to carry my own bags and park my own car and I like to be left alone, this Aloft was perfect for that!

My only complaint is that finding parking for check-in was a little awkward. There wasn't any place to pull up on the street to get information and the lobby was not at street level

Convenient location but not much else
It is a good location but very hard to access unless you know where to park (in a paid lot) and how to get up to the 5th floor (which is the lobby) before you arrive. Those instructions should have been sent with confirmation of the room. The lobby area is not much to look at and in general it wasn't the best place I've stayed around Charlotte. It is however very convenient to the Spectrum center and the room was comfortable.

Hotel was great. Has issues at checkin with reservations not being in the system even though the reservation was made weeks in advanced. Took a while to get a representative from hotels to get it fixed.
