"Nice hotel, almost hits the mark."
What stands out the most about the Palomar was the service. I've stayed in literally hundreds of hotels around the world, some big chains and others boutique hotels, design hotels, or Hip Hotels, and it was the Service that stood out the most By Far! There's nothing better than calling a hotel's front desk and being greeted by your name and going above and beyond expectations for someone to help you. No major call center and being redirected to another person, etc. Valet gave the similar one on one experience as did every Bar, Restaurant, and on-site amenity (gym, pool, pool bar, concierge). Where the hotel fell short was a certain level of fun or funk in the rooms. I feel the days of the $8 bottle water are over. Give one free, or some free treats, like a cookie from a local Bakery & promote them. Everybody loves an unexpected gift. Work it into the price if u need too. It's like flying Business Class and having to pay for nut & a soda, it's awkward. The rooms are comfy, Frette linens nice, and overall floor plan nice. The Bathrooms were big and the walk-in shower very nice. Closet space was fine, but two small drawers is very small storage for most people. The phone system was super easy to navigate, and hooray for lights with dimming switches that don't take 5' to figure out how to use. Really bad grades go to in-room dining. We did late-night menu, breakfast, and dinner. What a let-down (except for the French toast & berries). Avoid Room Service.

"Clarendon Hotel and Spa"
Really great experience at this hotel. Jess at the front desk was really excellent...friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The bartender on the roof deck was superb as well. Hotel overall excellent...loved the old building having a funky facelift and contemporary feel. Finally, they were gracious in refunding my room reservation as i had somehow double booked my stay on Travelocity and wasn't a big hassle. Overall five stars.

"Phoenix"
I have stayed here before, and my first stay was very good. The second stay was acceptable, but it was weird that I found cellophane wrappers on the floor and there was peeling wallpaper around the window. As before, the staff were very nice and helpful and the stay overall was pretty good.

"Cool hotel while in Downtown"
This is a cool hotel located in a cool building in downtown. Even though the parking was complicated, they have valet service (for a fee) which helps. The interior design is very modern and nice and the bed is comfortable and the views incredible. The restaurant of the hotel is very very good but we didn't have a chance to try the bar since it was closed when we came back from our dinner/party. The staff is very professional and nice. For a price that is comparable to the Clarendon and San Carlos, this is a better option, especially if you want more space and comfort.

"PERFECTION! Best Staycation ever! "
This is by far the very best hotel we have ever stayed in. It is not the fanciest. It is not the most expensive. It is, however, the best experience we have ever had in any hotel. The staff is unbelievably friendly, and extremely accommodating. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We use room service for both supper and breakfast. Room service was very quick. The food was delicious and hot. I personally have never had hash browns that tasted so delicious. Crispy on the outside and fully cooked in the middle. That truly is the sign of a good chef who cares about what they put on the table. The only thing I would change, is I would like to have a broader dinner menu. Most of the menu is Mexican burritos and finger foods. I would love to see steak, pork chops, or some other food that is more conducive to dinner. With that said, the food was still delicious. Room service was priced very well, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a room for a night, a week, or more. Whether you are like us renting a room for an evening to get away from life, or whether you are on honeymoon after an amazing wedding, this is absolutely the best place to be. We will definitely be staying here again, and again, and again...

Retro hotel that offers all the modern amenities. Awesome pool, comfortable rooms, great bar/lounge with tons of different seating options. Lunched on our last day in the restaurant while we listened to live music. Everything was perfect!

"First time at the Arizona Grand Resort"
January 2016. We stayed at the Arizona Grand for a Gymnastics competition. The resort was beautiful, very accommodating, and everything was kept very clean. Pools and hot tubs outside of every room are very clean. The water park (which is normally closed in the winter but they opened 1 day for the gymnasts) was very nice. Food and food service was very enjoyable and reasonably priced for a resort of this caliber. The gym and spa were very nice and well enough equipped.

"Good Location off I-10"
The rooms are nice and well-kept. The location is great, right off of I-10 East. They have multiple restaurant options in different price ranges within the casino. There is a nice outlet mall next door. The pool was not heated, but it was nice and the hot tub was toasty. Lots of positives. I stayed for three nights, and I had 2 problems. First, the hotel is all non-smoking, but even up on the 9th floor, I can still smell cigarette smoke in the hallway (faintly). My nose was stuffed up during my entire stay as a result. So, if you have allergies to smoke, this hotel is not for you. Second, and this was a small issue, I couldn't hear through the walls, but I could hear doors in the hallway opening and closing. One time it woke me up from a sound sleep.
