The air conditioning stopped working around 12am, and the smart pad stated the connection was lost.
We had 24 hours to wait between flights and so needed somewhere to sleep, close to the airport. You certainly can't get any closer than the Terminal itself. It was easy, and we were offered an early check-in (GBP 20).
Liked the hotel but it is in an odd location. Tube and bus routes close by, but not much shopping or appealing restaurants within walking distance. Also, checked back in after our tour and they gave us two twin beds and would not change to a double as we requested.

A really nice hotel especially for the price.Checking in was easy and quick and the staff really polite. My room was on the first floor and had twin beds with a very nice street view.It was central to shops and theatres and the bar was very pleasant and everyone working there was helpful.
I had a vey enjoyable stay at IBIS. The room was very comfortable and clean, The bottom line is I will stay there again if I happen to visit englad again Thanks Jerry

Great little travelers' hotel, located in a great convenient area. Easy access to the Underground and food. Safe neighborhood and helpful staff. Rooms are small but comfortable and perfect for your trip to London!
This hotel is convenient to Lancaster Gate Tube and a bus line to Victoria Coach Station; The hotel itself is a nice old building that has been well-maintained and is bright and cheerful. My single room was quite spacious for the price -- the only problem was the walls were too thin to stop the racket ...
When there was a problem with the bathroom shower head it was fixed the same day before we'd even left after the free continental breakfast. The desk staff gave very good directions to anywhere, be it a unique area restaurant, or the closest underground stop to get to Westminster. The room itself ...
