"We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. The mountain views were amazing, and it was such a peaceful place to come back to each day.The house was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the property. The location was perfect for exploring Mars Hill and Erwin while still feeling tucked away in the mountains. The drive up is definitely a true mountain drive, but once you arrive, the views and setting are absolutely worth it. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway."

"We booked Jason and Vanessa’s Unwind Cabin in Mars Hill at the last minute for a quick one-night getaway, and it ended up being absolutely amazing and money well spent. The cabin truly had everything we needed. There were so many activities and amenities that we never felt the need to leave, and honestly, we didn’t. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, played games, relaxed, and were able to watch both the sunset and sunrise, all during a single night’s stay. Our goal was simply to get away for a night, relax, and unwind, and this place delivered exactly that. Mission accomplished. There was actually so much to do that we couldn’t fit everything into one trip. Next time, we’ll definitely make time to enjoy more of the additional amenities in the area, including the spa, fitness center, and ski resort.Jason and Vanessa have created a great place to escape, relax, and enjoy yourselves without having to go anywhere. We would absolutely stay here again."

"The views at this cabin were SPECTACULAR. The house was exactly what we were hoping for. We wanted an unplugged vacation with board games and no electronics. There were loads of board games to keep us entertained. The stocked trout pond was a full experience for our family. This was equally rustic and fabulous. The house is a lot bigger than we all expected. The only slight downside was the lack of air conditioning. Which was ok since there were plenty of fans! We wanted a middle of the woods experience and this truly delivered for our family. I do think this site is not safe for smaller children. Our youngest is 6 but is a very aware child and was cautious on all cliffs around the site. The outdoor dining site had views that could kill! It was seriously gorgeous. The house is fully stoked with everything you would need. Outdoor grill, fire pit, outdoor seating, ping pong, and the sounds of the stream on the property. The beds were very comfortable and it had 3 floors with 3 full bathrooms and 3 king sized bedrooms AND a hang out room that had two twin beds. It was very comfortable. It was very serene and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for renting out your cabin, it was honestly a core memory for our 3 kiddos and we couldn’t appreciate the sharing of your property enough!"
